Rikko and Helen were batchmates, since class 8th, now in 12th. Helen was a blonde transfer student, she was a math maniac. No matter how tough the sum is she'll solve. Rikko was a care free, muscular but soft hearted person. He is in science group but he always stays outside the class, playing in the ground or securing medals for his school. He's the best sports man.
One day, he went for regional level skating competition & didn't attend his pre boards. Helen got worried. She called him, couldn't reach her. After a week or two when he came back school she told him, "you failed in maths."
He said, "doesn't matter ! 😁" She was very angry but he couldn't figure out why ? Then he asked her best friend, Nany. Nany told him a complete different story, that Helen went on date with a senior.
He laughed initially and then he left the class, went to football ground. He cried sitting there, whosoever asked him the reason he said, "IT's DUST IN MY EYES". After school she came, threw a letter on his face and went away.
He opened the letter. It was written,
"By HELEN,
I LOVE MATHS because numbers don't lie. When they cry they don't say IT'S DUST IN MY EYES. Last week that senior was pestering me. To avoid his proposal I bet on you. Bet was, if you score less than 50% I'll have to go on that date .You failed. I had to go.
I guess its over between us, is it ? My dear MATHS."
