As the makeup artists were doing my makeup....they started complimenting about how good my features are....
Many of my close friends and bridesmaids came in and spoke to me as they were braiding my hair into a bun.....
The day I would leave my family and start a new life with someone I loved.....The day has finally arrived.
But the thought of leaving my parents saddened me...
No matter what they were still my parents and I loved them the most and trusted them the most....
As I put my wedding dress, I started feeling very nervous....The same nervous feeling I used to have before going on a stage to perform, but a different situation here...
The artists attached the veil covering my face after I finished putting on my dress....I put on the special heels I had selected for this day and walked toward my car....with my mother and father by my side I felt at ease...but the butterflies in my stomach wouldn't stop...
I WAS ABOUT TO MEET THE MAN I LOVED...THE MAN I CHOSE TO BE BESIDE ME FOR MY WHOLE LIFE...
As I walked down the aisle by holding the hand of the who man treated me as a princess since birth, a flashback of my dad first holding my hand when I took my first step came to me...I wanted to cry knowing that today's the day dad's princess is leaving the castle....as I neared my fiancé I saw him have a huge smile on his face, a smile that I had seen when I first accepted to be his girlfriend...
I felt like the most luckiest girl alive to marry someone I have deep affection for....
As my dad took my hand and placed it in my husband's hand he told him with a smile....
"I entrust my daughter to you, from today until the day you stop breathing take care of her for me. That's my only wish."
My fiancé smiled and said,
"Dad, I will always keep my queen safe. I will always stay by her side." My dad smiled with lot of pride and went to the side as we were about to say our vows...
[I'm very sorry for this part I haven't been to a wedding in a while so I forgot the order of the vows, I asked my cousin (who I'm writing this for) the vows but she also forgot her vows...I apologize once again I'm very sorry....this is the only vow I remember properly (my parents also forgot their vows)]
He took my hand and put the ring on my finger and said, [bride's name] take this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity. In the name of the father, and of the son, and of the holy spirit. Amen. [since I'm a Catholic these are the vows]
I took the ring and put the ring on my fiancée's finger and said, [groom's name] take this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity. In the name of the father, and of the son, and of the holy spirit. Amen
PRIEST: I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU HUSBAND AND WIFE.
As the priest said this my husband lifted up my veil and kissed me. My heart started thumping hard as I kissed him back. As we broke of the kiss I shyly looked at the crowd as they were clapping for us...
