They both walked to the park. Slowly, one step at a time. He, holding her hand in one hand and she, holding her two year old granddaughter in the other hand. They could feel the wrinkles of each other's fingers. They sat on a bench, letting the kid play.
He: (sigh!) Do you remember this bench baby?
She: How will I ever forget this?
They both smiled and didn't say a word. Memories filling their heart.

She was engrossed in solving the sudoku appeared in the daily. He was running, beads of sweat on his forehead, his t-shirt damp with sweat and he, with his manly natural scent. He sat on the bench, near her, a stranger who wouldn't lift her head from the newspaper.
He: I think it is wrong. (sipping water from his bottle)
She: *glares at him, ignores, goes back into solving sudoku again*
He sees her face for the first time. A normal face. Wheatish. Curly short hair. Dark rimmed nerdy glasses. In few seconds, he could manage only this much.
She strikes out the whole matrix, finding that she made a mistake while solving.
She(Without looking at him) : You are right!
Days passed like that. They both came every day to the park. She never spoke. He never disturbed. It was love at first sight for him. There was something which nobody could perceive about her, a person of cold attitude.

Her shy, cold self had changed and her voice had a tinge of warmth.
He: What are you reading?
She: Fault in our stars.
He: I don't think there are any. Or are there?
For the first time, ever since they met, their eyes met each others'
The end..
