"Su--Subaru-kun?!" Jessica was surprised by Subaru's sudden appearance. She was really happy that she finally got to meet her dream guy, which is a 2D character, Subaru.
"You're Jessica, right?" Subaru asked. "Wha-- How did you know my name?" Jessica was a little shocked by Subaru's question. "You're the person who have watched me my whole life. The way you would say it, you watched an 'anime' of my life. You were fangirling over me etcetera..." Jessica was embarrassed by Subaru's statement. "Well, I did, hehe..." Jessica was so nervous and embarrassed she was speechless.
'What should I do? He's even hot in person! Kyaa!~'
"Relax, Jess. It's just me." Subaru smiled. "By the way, since you are here, why don't you follow me and explore this world together?" "Okay"
They had fun all day. They went to the market and bought some cotton candy. They ate at a fancy restaurant. They even went shopping at the mall. Finally, they went to the most beautiful place in Subaru's world, the Sunset Beach. They sat together at the seaside while they were eating some cotton candy together.
"You know this place, right?" "Of course, Subaru-kun! The sunset here is so beautiful! That's why it was named Sunset Beach, right?" "That's right, you're so smart." Subaru smiled and pinched a little bit of Jess's cotton candy and ate it.
As Jessica were enjoying the cotton candy, Subaru spoke with a sad voice, "Jessica, there's something I want to tell you." "What is it, Subaru-kun?" "You know that this isn't real, right?" Jessica was speechless for a little while. "Wh--What are you talking about?" "You know what I'm talking about. None of this is real, Jessica. This is all just a dream." Jessica was so sad she almost cried. "You know that this would happen in any anime, a fake situation or a fake hope or fake realities, any anime can make it happen. And now, this is a fake reality, a dream, Jess." "I--I don't want this to be fake. I--I want to be with you forever, Subaru-kun! Please..." Jessica's tears have flowed. Subaru wiped her tears using his fingers, "That's the problem, you can't. I am not real. None of this is real. Wake up, Jessica."
Jessica cried and couldn't say anything. Subaru continued, "Goodbye, Jessica. I love you."
Those were the last words Subaru-kun said to me. As I was crying really bad, I didn't really remember what had happened. The only thing I remembered was that after he said goodbye, he kissed my forehead and I woke up from that dream. I never dreamed about any anime related ever again. I guess Subaru-kun was trying to tell me to stop fangirling over 'unreal' stuff like him, anime or manga.
But, no matter how many times anyone will tell me that, I will still fangirling over the anime guy who appeared in my dream and kissed my forehead. Yeah, because I am a weeb.
