This also one of the true stories that happened.
There was a girl named Kusum, she lost her mom when she was young, so his father remarried to give her mom's love. But life is not fair, the step-mom didn't like her and would make her do all the housework, while she would enjoy her free time.
Her dad was unaware of this, she would only act like a loving mother in front of her husband. Kusum, stubborn though she was never lost hope, and obediently did whatever she was asked thinking one day her mother would love her.
Days passed, from days became years, Kusum grew up, she went to earn outside. Each time she would earn she would give everything to her mother thinking she would be happy. And she was, who wouldn't be happy if they get money without hard work.
Her step-mom treated her nicely now, she thought that finally my mom loved me. (silly girl she was not able to see her true facade) One day, her father felt sick and he was sent to the hospital. She needed urgent money to do her father's check-up.
She asked her mother to give her the money which she earned to which her step-mom replied " Which money are you talking about? I don't have any money" Kusum was heart broken, she trusted her mother that's why she gave all her earnings to her step-mom thinking she(mom) will keep it properly.
Her trust was broken and so was her heart, it traumatized her to such an extent that she became mental.
(if you're thinking what her step-mom did with her money then, she transferred all the money into hers and her children's account)
(The girl in the story was author's mom's friend. I don't know her real name so the name given is imaginary but the incident was real.)
Life is really cruel don't you think, she just wanted to be loved, accepted and cherished but all she got was betrayal. Her desire of wanting her step-mom's love blinded her to such an extent.that she wasn't able to distinguish bad and good people.
I have one more similar story real okay
This girl also had a step-mom, her name was Jessica. She also lost her mom at an early age her father remarried. But unlike the first story, in this the step-mom loved her like her own child. Later her step-mom had a child and Jessica got a baby brother, but her step-mom didn't neglect her after having her own child, she loved her as she did just like before.
(The girl in the story is my junior. she goes to the same school as me and in the same bus)
In the first story we saw how no matter what Kusum did her step-mom never looked at her lovingly
whereas in second story her step-mom loved her dearly.
Moral: So the moral of the story is that, no all step-moms are good but not all are bad. The title of the story is appropriate don't you think. Both are step-moms yet so different from each other. One is cruel, greedy and the other is kind and loving.
Before trusting anyone we must examine them first but don't be too much wary of others.
Don't judge others on the basis of looks and act because even the devil acts kind with an innocent smile and malice in his heart.
Hope you like it. Have a great day.
