Yeah I know my name is cool but my appearance is not.
[Derrick: Yeah. We could but you're different than them. That's why you are so fun to mess with.]
Derrick the school bully atleast for myself that's what I call him but the other guys they don't call him that even they knew that Derrick is a big bully. Also they know that Derrick is the school popular guy that's why other student rides along with all of his wacky and bad jokes. After all of Derrick's bullying and insults theres only one person that wash all of those away. The School Idol Cassandra Blue. Man ain't she gorgeous she is the only reason why I still that hell school. That's why one day I decided to make myself cool and make a move Cassandra I go to the mall to buy the hairstyle magazine and also to get some haircut also and after that I pick up some clothes as well then at the school next day.
[Ricci: Man it's cold outside.]
I waited for Cassandra to come Infront of the school while Derrick is still not in the school. Other student were laughing at my clothes and hairstyle but I didn't pay attention to them and continue to wait for Cassandra to come in the school. After waiting for almost an hour Cassandra came to school and she's is not alone there someone beside her and as I take a look…. It broke my heart as I see her with the school bully Derrick. But it didn't stop me from giving the flowers that I bought in the mall yesterday. I approached her and as I tries to talk to her Derrick interrupted me.
[Derrick: Oh you're already here Ricci.]
He talks to me like we are in a good terms. Derrick approach me and takes the flower that bought for Cassandra.
[Derrick: Thank you for getting this for me. I owe you one.]
What the hell?! Did he just say that his the one that bought that freaking flower?!. That's what saying in my mind but my cowardness freaking kicks in that I couldn't say a single word out of my mouth. And when my cowardness gone by the only word that I said was….
[Ricci: Yeah. No worries.]
And I freaking smile also. After that in the lunch time Derrick and his friends came to me and drags me at the back of the school and beats me up. I didn't resist and let them do what ever they want to do with me.
[Derrick: Don't approach Cassandra again and don't make you're self cool also it doesn't suit you.]
[Ryan: Yeah. Being a nerd suits you. Hahaha.]
At the end of the day I came home straight away from school. Goes to room fast so that my family won't notice have bruises and crying. I go to my room and cry the hell out all of my frustration on what happened. I totally looked like an idiot doing an errands for Derrick. After that incident I gave becoming cool in high school and just go along on whats going to happened every single day. I didn't get to enjoy what other teenager would enjoy, I didn't socialised and also my family said that I should make some friends too. They just didn't know how hard it is to make a friend and I angrily said to them that no one's going to become a friend with a loser like me.
[Ricci: Am I that ugly? Am I that uncool? Then if not why? Why anyone can't like me for who I am?.]
Those words keeps coming back to me as I grow up. I dream one day that these kind of words won't came back to me and as days have passed until the graduation day of our school I keep getting bullied and beating by Derrick and friends. After the graduation day I decided to move out to my parents house and get an apartment near my work place. After 3 years of training my body while I'm working in Gym I send my resignation letter to owner and said that I'm going to enroll myself in Naval School. And after 4 years of studying in Naval School where I have the highest grade I graduated and earned the rank of second lieutenant. After I get out in Naval School I hangs out with my friends that I made in the school and we go to the new cafe that just around the street after we entered the establishment someone shouted my name and as I take look at the one who shouted my name I got suprise when take a look at her closely. The person that I wanted to forget and my first loved knew who I am and calls for me. That's right it's Cassandra Blue and as I walk towards her and her friends from high school I keep reminiscing on my high school days where Im the laughing stock of the school. Now I can proudly face Cassandra and ask her out and maybe become my girlfriend hehe.
[Cassandra: Wow. You changed so much that I couldn't recognised you.]
[Elie: Yeah.]
[Ricci: Did I really changed that much?.]
[Cassandra: Yeah!.]
[Ellie: So you are a Navy Soldier now huh?.]
[Ricci: Umm.. Yeah…. I guess…. Hahaha.]
Its really awkward when I'm talking to two beautiful girls and also this is my first time talking to a girl beside my mother and my two sisters. Ellie excuse her self for a while and I finally got my chance to asks Cassandra to date when I'm about to ask her someone intervene and pushes me away.
[Cassandra: Oh my god.]
[Derrick: Who is this guy?! Is he the one you cheating with Cassandra?!.]
[Cassandra: Dont make a commotion here. It's embarrassing.]
[Derrick: Embarrassing? Are you kidding me? Youre the one who should be embarrassed you have a freaking kid now!.]
It broke my freaking heart again when I heard that Cassandra is married and have a kid with Derrick the Bully!. Derrick looks at me and said…..
[Derrick: You gotta be kidding me. This is the guy that you've been cheating with?! You're cheating with Ricci the loser?! Hahaha…. That's freaking hilarious.]
[Danny: Hey there Little Derrick.]
[Derrick: Who the hell calling me Little?! Bro?! What are you doing here?.]
[Danny: Im here to get a food with my SUPERIOR.]
[Derrick: Where are you're superior I should say hi to him. But I don't see him. Where is he?.]
[Danny: His right Infront of you.]

[Ricci: I'm his superior. I'm Ricci Whiteside. The Second Lieutenant of 43rd Battalion of Navy.]
[Derrick: You?!.]
[Danny: Aren't you gonna say hi to him?.]
[Derrick: Hello there. I'm his cousin Derrick Quentin.]
[Ricci: Yeah. Hello. And I'm not the one does Cassandra cheating with.]
[Derrick: Oh yeah?.]
I prove to Derrick that Cassandra isn't cheating with me. Although I might say that is isn't a bad idea. Ellie comes back and talks to Derrick because there are a lot of people watching us and talks about us Ellie after explaining it to Derrick told me to leave and come with her. I don't know why but I just comes along with it after we get out in the cafe Ellie said that I should stop sending flowers to Cassandra. Then I said to her I don't know what she's talking about I never send her any flowers I remember sending Cassandra flower everyday is back in high school. Ellie knows about it and told me that someone is sending Cassandra flower also everyday and theres a name on it which is my name. I replied to her by saying that didn't send flowers to Cassandra anymore after we graduated in high school and then Danny interrupted and told us that his been the one sending flowers to Cassandra and uses my name. I asked him why would he do that, he replied i know how much you loved Cassandra because you keep talked about her everytime and so I figure that if Cassandra keeps receiving the flowers from you she would have been also fallen in love with you, you know. His right up until now the girl that I loved after all this time is Cassandra. I keep thinking about her even inside the Naval School and she became my inspiration for the last seven years to reach my dreams and goals in life. But I guess God will let you achieve your dreams and goals but not with the person you loved the most ofcoures outside you're family. I told Danny that... I'm giving up on Cassandra not because she didn't feels the same way about me it's because she already have a family with Derrick and I don't want to become the reason why they family would break. God probably gave me a thousand chance to tell Cassandra how felt about her and maybe I'm just scared of getting rejected by her and as time past the distance between me and her become so long and hard to get past every miles of it. That day came to an end and as I lay down in my bed thinks, told myself that getting rejected by the person you loved is much more painful than getting killed by a thousand bullets on the battlefield. Surely one month after I meet Cassandra we get dispatch in the Iraq and in six months we get an encounter with territories half of my battalion got killed and some of who survived become an hostage of the terrorists we are in their base of operations for one whole year after that one us got out and survive probably his going to get some from the military who's 300km away and get us out of here....
