The wolf comes closer, and senses my tears. I wasn’t able to move nor speak, yet I was able to cry.
The wolf then laid its paws around my feet… And finally, I was able to speak.
W:”Your last… Words.”
I finally spoke. I wasn't able to earlier but my eyes became clearer. One image has come into my mind. A peaceful sense of memory. The one who took care of me when I was young.
And the moment I was drafted away into this hellfire. I never saw her again. I wanted to see her. I missed her.
“I... I want to see my mother again.”
The wolf transformed into my mother’s figure. And embraced and comforted me as she laid her hand out with mine.
Her eyes were the same as back then, and her smile was something I found happiness with. My mother. The one who rose me when I was a kid.
D:"A swift death? WHY?!"
The bear roared in frenzy.
W:"Those who embraced life... means accepting death. And this soul has already accepted it..."
My breathing was slower, and my eyes were getting dimmer. I could see the light, gleaming with the warmth of the sun.
W:”Hush now… and rest… depart… in peace… voiceless soul.”
My mother figure gently stroke me as I slowly fall to a deep slumber.
Although, I wasn't able to speak again but... I genuinely smiled as I faced the silhouettes of life and death.
Goodbye my dear mother...
