My name is Kate. I am 13 years old and in my 7th grade. Well I skipped a year. I have a bestfriend who is always by my side. Her name is Shella.
One day our class teacher Mr.Mark decided to change our seats so he asked us to get out of the class. Once we were in, the seats were already assigned.
I went to my seat according to the arrangement. I was grouped with two boys and my friend. One of the two boys were the class topper. He had much confidence and could do presentation easily. He also had many friends of both genders. He is easy going. His name is Daniel.
We have been in the same class for three years. All of us except for the new students. It was easy to get along.
I am shy and do not talk much. In our group those two boys talk and joke around while me and my friend laugh listening to them. My friend can often bend with them but I cannot. It is always hard for me to talk and much harder if it's a opposite gender.
Past three months we have got used to the arrangement and we're fine with it. Especially for me. I had my best friend as my deskmate.
Daniel is very popular. He had girlfriend from 3rd grade. He changed three girlfriends and the current one is from our class. A beautiful and intelligent girl.
There were news saying that they had broken up. He talked with his friend about it in our group. Staying in the same group, I got to hear some news. He saw her in somebody's embrace and hence broken up.
Don't know from what, from where the topic came but my group starting teasing me with him. Of course the teasing made me shy. Any tease will make one shy if you are paired with someone.
Gradually with all these teasings he(Daniel) said he liked me. In the fair organized by the school we were the only one in the class.
"I like you." he said.
" Why?"
" There are three qualities I search in girls. Beauty. Intelligence. Kind. You match all those criteria."

" Tell me something. Do you like me?"
" Sorry. I don't. I can't."
I excused. It is because I had fear instilled within me. My parents objection as well as my owns fear. It will be disastrous if my parents were to know I have boyfriend at this age. I don't want a relationship now.
That time when he proposed only the two of us and two of our friends where in the class. They sat in a corner and we sat in another corner and had respective talks.
There were some nice qualities as well as bad ones in him. He was friendly, nice, handsome, intelligent...but he had multiple ex girlfriends, he used to use drug, had a temper....
