Patting some powder on my face and continuously looking in the mirror from top to bottom and front to back and my chubby body was enough for making me nervous than ever.
Today is the day You can do it! I said to myself. I have been eagerly waiting for this day to come in my life and here it is already.
Coming out of the cab a bit uncomfortable because of these stupid heels I managed to look confident and adorable. I entered into the open restaurant which was fully lit with sparkling lanterns and yellow radiant lights. From afar I could see him, my prince charming. I straightened my posture and directly marched towards him.
There was no one except the two of us there. I touched his back so as to let him know that I am here . He got startled and stood as I came from
back.
At this point both of our eyes met each other's. We both were equally nervous but yet tried to be calm. We both were lost in each other's eyes. All those past feelings suddenly passed through my heart. All these past years I had a secret crush on him. I still remember those few incidents which embarrassed me infront of other girls but I did it just to grab his attention. I liked him since high school and now we are going to graduate.
As we were lost in each other's eyes I suddenly removed a rose from behind which I was hiding from before. And I was extremely amazed when I saw him also offering a rose to me. I looked at him in shock. He said "Can I say it First?". I nodded in excitement and joy as I knew what was he going to say.
"You may not be aware of it, but I had a crush on you since high school. I never told you this before with the fear that you may think that I am just a rich boy who is using you but....I can't wait anymore. I want you in my life. You make every moment of my life special. I want to be happy with you always. I want you to just love me and no one else You are the most beautiful person I have met."
And then came those beautiful words which I waited to listen all these years. "I love you, Will you become my Girlfriend?" I started crying as I heard these words from his mouth. I always thought that he did not like me but even he had a crush on me all these years! I couldn't believe it! I said "Yes" I was just able to say this as I was overwhelmed with happiness
He then hugged me tightly in his strong arms and I felt the most warmth in his arms. That day was really The Most Beautiful Day of my life.
