A friend of Malcolm was hospitalized. He reached the hospital to meet his friend. He was going to the general ward by lift. Suddenly the lift stopped with a jolt. Then a girl 'Lorine' present there caught Malcolm in fear. After sometime when the lift opened, Lorine walked away saying 'sorry' to him. Lorine's brother was also admitted in the general ward. She reached him. Malcolm's friend was on the bed next to Lorine's brother. Malcolm also came there. Malcolm was watching Lorine, and Lorine knew. She was also looking at him occasionally. Lorine had brought a juice bottle for her brother, which could not open. Then Malcolm raised his hand. Lorine gave the bottle to Malcolm. Malcolm touched Lorine's hand while taking the bottle. Then the bottle was opened but Lorine touched Malcolm's hand while taking the bottle from Malcolm and smiled while applying pressure with her finger. Then a nurse told Lorine, "Your patient's file has gone for typing discharge paper." Malcolm thought, "Let me express my desire to take the phone number. Just then Lorine got a phone call from someone and she exited the ward. Malcolm thought, "Good chance..." Malcolm also exited the ward. When Lorine turned off the phone, then Malcolm stepped towards Lorine. But didn't know why. Couldn't say anything. Went to smoke and get cold-drinks to relax himself. After a while, he returned to see Lorine. But the patient was not there. Malcolm started repenting, "Why didn't you take the number! When could have been easily found..." Malcolm asked a nurse standing nearby, she said, "That patient is gone." Malcolm became depressed. And left the hospital to smoke again. That's when Malcolm saw that Lorine's brother was being carried in a carriage at the hospital gate. Malcolm thought, "This is my last chance!" He stayed where he was. and Lorine stayed there (stopped). Then Malcolm walked towards Lorine. But he had to stop his steps. Because suddenly a man came, on whose bike Lorine sat clinging to him. Malcolm then found Lorine on the way. Watched till she kept seeing...
