Because she is gonna see her 1st love again in school.
Mia never confessed her feelings to Liam.
Liam was a school hunk but they were good friends.
She got ready & reached the campus when she saw her 1st love walking towards her.

1st love is always precious. It's full of innocence, purity, zero experience, excitement & of course lots of love & care for that person.
But when that 1st love turns into heartbreak, it fills u up with insecurity, hurt, pain & tears.
Months went by & Mia tried to move on.
It isn't easy to forget one's 1st love.
One day, Mia notices one of her friends staring at her. He was Jayden.
Jayden was a very sweet guy & has been friends with Mia since 2 years.
He was always there for Mia whenever she needed someone as a support, as a friend as well as a mentor. Mia always felt warmness from him & had a soft corner for him. Jayden was the only person who knew about Mia's 1st love & was there to give his shoulder when she was crying.
Days went by & Mia noticed a slight change in Jayden's behavior. Usually he always helped her in notes, took care of her & even have her lots of chocolates but nowadays he was kinda little bit flirting with her as well.
It wasn't like Mia hated it but kinda liked it & that's what bothered her.
It was Friday when Mia decided to visit library & Jayden as usual tagged along.
They were searching for some books when the duo noticed Liam walking towards them with his girlfriend.
Before Liam could say anything, Jayden hugged Mia.
He hugged her so that she won't have to face Liam & get upset again. But this time, Mia wasn't upset. She was surprised. She felt butterflies in her stomach. There was a slight pink shade on her cheeks.
After Liam went away, they broke the hug & Jayden noticed that Mia was feeling shy.
He smiled & spoke, "I know u r not ready to love someone now but would u like to give me a chance? I promise I'll make u feel loved & happy even more that Liam & always stay by ur side."
Mia was looking at Jayden with her mouth wide open & was unable to form any words.
Jayden continued, "I have been in love with u since 2 years & waited for u to notice my feelings. I won't blame u for not noticing it but now u know."
"I-I donno whether I like u Jayden but I know this for sure that u make me feel special. I feel warm when I'm with u & I also get shy around u", Mia replies while looking down.
Jayden's smile grows wider & he lifts Mia's chin to look at him & asks, "Will u do the honor & be my girlfriend, Mia?"
Mia smiles & nods.
They both connect their lips again but had to hide unfortunately as the librarian was walking in their direction.
