Hi let me introduce myself my name is Gabe.R . I have one son named JR a wife named Miria and own 5 cars 1969-1970 charger with a blower motor attachment a F150 raptor a crown Victoria a lamborghini and a dodge Challenger hellcat. Our story takes place after I caught my wife cheating on me. She got mad and threw a lamp, a hairdryer and a whiskey bottle at me. When we got divorced I got the kid he was 7 at the time. She married a rich man. But since I had a legal claim to all the cars so she couldn't get her crown Victoria she devised a plan. mean while I was working as a unknown spy for the cops let's just say they needed a favor and I needed slack on my speeding charges they had me at the north house club trying to get a confirmation out of a poker player who shot the winner of the game and ran a illegal shipping scandal I found him and we got to drinking and talking he comfest and we got three names of people who committed federal felonies I got three favors one for each person on All my speeding tickets erased well when I got home. I had some tea and told my son what I did at work. He said that's cool dad . Well I made pizza for dinner and went to bed. It was nine o'clock at night and dark outside I heard a knock at the door.I answered the door and to my surprise it was a cop. He said your ex-wife said that you are involved in a federal offense. I said what offense he said let's talk downtown. I said this don't sound right. I agree cop said and since you helped us you got one minute to leave with your son. you are using one of your favors to make sure none of your cars get impounded. Here's the deal if we catch you three times you go to prison. That Means if we see you and catch you that being said you get a 60 seconds to get your son and run before we start. I slammed the door locked, grabbed my son got in my charger and left now thanks to my ex and probably her rich husband's money me and my son are on the run. Living in one of my cars and always on the road.

It's been 12 hours since we saw our last cop. we're at a truck stop in Georgia.with only 20 bucks my son says I'm hungry. I give him 12 and we enter the store together. And after the twenty bucks is gone. I have to teach my son and myself how to live on the road with no money. We paid 12 bucks for the food and six bucks for the gas and we take off and start heading down the road again. Heading down interstate 285 going 85 towards the Mississippi River listen to running down a dream by Tom Petty on the radio. Well it's night time and thank God what takes for my son to fall asleep is it being night time and listening and feeling the engine rumble going 65 down the road. I'm hoping we get to Joe's bar in Birmingham Alabama to pick up my brother John it is a surprise for junior before he wakes up we are now crossing into Alabama on route 20 entering Oxford to fill up back on the road my son still resting peacefully in the back seat.we might just make it to the bar before he wakes up only got 10 miles to go and just seen a cop hopefully he didn't notice us we make it into the bar I helped Uncle John to the car after ten rounds with Jose cuervo. Out of the blue the sirens start. He gets in the passenger seat .I slide across the edge of the hood and jump in, turning on the car hitting 80 in 3.5 seconds listening to breaking the law kid was surprised when he woke up all right. In a 160 mile an hour car chase for 8 hours we lost them in Winana, Mississippi on route 182.we still got 10 hours and 22 minutes 698.2 miles to Wichita Kansas on our way we stopped at route 68 gas station somewhere between Oklahoma City and Perry Oklahoma. We stopped for the night my son has learned how to go and sway the owners into giving him stuff or to Swype without detection. it's morning we are finally entered Perry Oklahoma on our way to Wichita drinking and having a ball not caring about cops because they're out for us anyways so why not as long as the driver sober who cares rocking out to all Star and Holiday by Green day, kid amazed by the scenery with the kids birthday coming up we asked him where in the United States do you want to go to? He said Amarillo Texas so we got to Wichita and got into my raptor F-150 his birthday is in 3 days sun setting went and turned in for the night slept for a day and back on the road next day where in Greenville well we took a day's drive to elk City Oklahoma I said to John want to get something to eat? He said yeah we hit a side road out of town listening to body like a back road by Sam Hunt. We hit a little honky tonk near the edge of town, had a blast, had too much soda and passed out. John and I could barely stand and a girl from the back of the room through a beer bottle John hit a cop drunk. I said grab the kid let's scream! we ran out of there like a bat out of hell we are driving like mad listening to a bat out of hell by meatloaf just lost the cops and ended up in perrinton Texas heading to Amarillo Texas heading down the road listening to highway Don't Care by Tim McGraw. We entered Panama Texas listen to Amarillo by morning by George strait doing 60 down the highway we got to Amarillo by morning and stay the night in the Casey's parking lot next destination San Diego California.we got lost because I looked at the map and told John we should have made a right turn at Albuquerque well we finally found a way to San Diego. when we got to San Diego and got in the lambo and listen to rolling in the deep being chased by cops. As the cops spun out we was hitting a hundred twenty miles per hour we're in Kansas City Missouri heading east to Albany New York crossing the Ohio River Jon decides to race the train and we barely make it and Junior just had to say I have to pee dad I said try to hold it we're almost to a stopping point we hopped into my other F-150and stopped on the side of the road grab the rifle out of the back and went into the wood so we can and hunt for food and do whatever we needed to. We see a deer and I tell my son to take the shot. We skinned and cooked it over an open flame and had dinner. John picked us up on the side of the of road 62 heading out of Jamestown Pennsylvania.on the way to Albany New York drinking whiskey and eating deer sausage cop seen us doing 70 in the truck we pulled the hide behind the house trick from Smokey and the bandit. We stayed at my cousin Frank's farm and shot some coyotes for payment we had to leave early in the morning and so we took off. Jon jumped a opening in the ground on a trail all hoping we would make it and we got in a crown Victoria and headed to Albany New York and Uncle John's driving drunk. As we head down the road to get my Challenger hellcat Uncle John decides to take us up a old dirt bike trail. As we wait dreaming of driving into amidan North Dakota. We wait to be picked up at a place called hookies. It is a fish / bar joint. We drink there. It is a 21 and up only bar so I'm trying to convince the bartender that my son is a 21 year old midget very hard to do. He drink some soda and we wait John finally picks us up and we headed ruso North Dakota listen to shut up and dance with me by walking the Moon we entered ruso North Dakota and we finally think we can settle down for a while before having to set off the road again on this crazy wacky Chase on the run ruso North Dakota is a small little town and we head to abandon cabin in the backwoods on the edge of town only one road leads to their two miles from the edge of town. I heading into town to get some stuff and I meet someone. I ran into him at grandma's Cafe.he was a stunning waiter he asked what I wanted. I asked what do you recommend he said in the shy tone Grandma's brownies and Dad's grilled burgers I said that sounds great he said my name is Eric DeVille I I could show you around town later. My name is Gabe Raines and I'd like that Eric. As Gabe leaves the dinner Eric runs into the kitchen and breathes heavily. Eric is a shy keep to himself type and doesn't really like talking for very long he works at his family's diner because he only speaks just enough to get what he needs done other than that he stays quiet in front of others. Except for his family Mom Dad Grandma and Grandpa are the only ones that can get him to talk for more than 5 minutes other than that he shuts out and does not express any kind of socializing with anybody at least more than he has to. I call after my shift and say hello I... Said it's after 5 where are you around the corner we meet (hey) (hey) so Eric is this your hometown I said trying to make conversation he said yes I was born and raised here you I said Georgia born and raised. Oh that's nice as Eric said that in a soft tone. well there's the Town square and over there's the library ummm please forgive me I'm not used to this. I said that's ok do you want to come over for dinner. Eric said very nervously I I I don't know I said in an encouraging tone it will be fine here I'll drive us there he said okay. We got back to my house and had dinner talk some more and got him to open up a little and we found out we're both single I introduced him Junior and ask so want to do this again sure how about tomorrow he said nervously I said that's great Juniors Uncle will be leaving for awhile okay see you tomorrow then I walked into his car and said see you tomorrow after work in front of the cafe.well I woke up at five chop firewood stacked the burn pile fix the kitchen door because for some reason the door keeps breaking loose because of the rusted hinges and pick up my kid from the tree House in the backyard it was 12 and a headed into town for lunch I went to Grandma's Cafe and got mom's lunch which is a chicken sandwich and french fries I went there for a few days every day at lunch and seen him at work he came over to me on the 5th day and said we're hiring in case you might want to work here . I said thanks I'll take it I accepted good be here at 6 for morning rush I said okay I'll see you tonight he said okay I could tell he was nervous I suggested we take an evening run / jog back to my house he agreed and It was after 5 and his shift was over we started our jog and discuss what's for dinner I asked him and if he wants to join us for dinner and stay the night he said okay quietly we got to my house and I gave him some water and he helped me prepare even though I said sit you're the guest but he didn't listen I made hamburger helper.he asked him how was my day.i said it was okay i asked him how was his day nothing new he said okay Gabe thanks for dinner I said it was good my pleasure junior said out of the blue I think my dad likes you and then he went into his room me and Eric continued and we was done I put the leftovers away and we headed towards the bedroom and watch the movie I picked up in town I think me and my son can be happy for a while living off the run as I said to myself. I asked if he wanted to play a game or something. He said big day tomorrow we should go to bed. I said you're right and went to sleep.
Next morning we woke up. I got dressed and we went to work.Got to the cafe to start work when we got there. I put the fresh food in the pantry and turned on the open sign and got ready for morning Rush. When we started serving tables. The radio in the background was playing 50s 60s 70s music.A nice young woman came in I seated her at a empty table and asked her what did she what she said surprise me so I said ok I didn't know what it was but I had a bad feeling about her something about her it seems like I know her from somewhere but I can't put a finger on it.
She was wearing a black top and blue jeans and brown steel toe boots she had sea blue eyes and looks that would knock anyone off their feet.all I knew was she looked familiar. I asked Eric if I can take a 30 minute break so I can check on something at home. He said ok but hurry back as soon as possible I said ok and ran for my car and took back to the house hoping that woman isn't who I think it is. I get back and the door is slightly off center which only happens when someone opens it. I check the house and my fear comes true the woman in the dinner is the one who assigned me to that night club before this crazy thing all began.I started to panic to this is really bad I finally com down and decided to let things pan out for a few days to find out what her plan was.I got back to the dinner and got back to work have spiteful feeling trying to figure out why she here I just hope she doesn't figure out that I'm the one every cop is looking for. It's been six months Eric has come to the house more and more we have gone out more time then I can count and I'm sure we're both thinking of making the knot for better or worse tonight we're going to his parents and having dinner I just hope that woman from my past don't ruin things considered she has stuck around town watching me.we got there I was welcomed as I thought I would be become their pretty nice people.well his dad grilled and his mom mad the sides I insisted that I helped and they appreciated that when dinner was done we sat down and had a nice talk and to my surprise it was Eric that pop the question I said with a surprised tone yes thinking I can't believe he was the one that popped he's still a little shy even I front of me.we agreed it would held in two days.wile I was getting my suit Eric was preparing on his end both racing we actually run smack into each other as we rubbed our heads and Laughed. I saw the woman still trying to figure out why she was keeping an eye on me.im still a little scared of telling Eric about the past few days before we met. I'll tell him after the ceremony your probably wondering why the town sheriff don't arrest me since I have every cop in the u.s after me it's because he a guy who as long as you don't do anything unlawful in his town he doesn't care he might even help you buy keeping the heat off you but if you commit any crime in his town he will drag u down 6 feet with law enforcement.well the wedding day came and everyone was invited as we said I do and headed back to the house I told Eric everything about the days before we met he was a little shocked ok ok little is a stretch he's a lot shocked but expected the fact and we had dinner and that dang women came to the door and said special agent Carla open I said I'm calling in my second faver she said angrily cursing that I had those two now one faver left she said you had sixty seconds to get everything and run and then I'm coming after you. I told Eric grab the kid and let's make like a pinata and beat it. He said ok and we drove off while cat scratch fever was playing in the background doing 70 headed out of town going towards Montana and then swinging back heading to Colorado. As we head down the road and all I see is a flash of black and white images of the past,what I seen and heard right before I went on that assignment before this all started I put 20 40 or 60 bucks in each vehicle I owned and headed towards the police station to receive my disguise and assignment. I remembered agent Carla say that if I screwed up she would come after me well that explains why she's chasing us and I seen and the one guy who ran when the police got to the nightclub right as I left he walked beside me and said I'll get you for this Gabe raines how did he know who I was all a sudden I hear Erick's voice Gabe Gabe Gabe snap out it where about to crash in that truck I jolt from startalment and barely missed the truck Erick ask what's wrong I said I finally remembered why that agent is after us and why my ex wife's new husband offer her the money that made it possible to frame me her husband has it out for because I got his biggest source of money put behind bars forever. The agent is after me because she is the one in charge of coming after me if I ever screwed up. Erick said at least we know why there after you ya now we don't have to finger out why any more. Now we just have finger out how not to get caught that going to be the hard part got any ideas Erick said hay I have one that might work what that change our last names I have friend that can take care of it easily and not have the cops know what we did and we can dye your hair a different color so they can't recognize you that might work and I have a friend who can change the titles of the vehicles to match your new identity and cut all ties with who we used to be he can make it like you bought them legally that might get us out of this fix and let us settle down where are we going to set it down I'll tell you after we get our this all said and done. Well got our last names change a my hair dyed black instead of keeping my natural brown hair he said a buddy well I should say th all my buddy's more friends of the my family and one of gave a old cabin in the woods 5 miles for a small town in south Dakota we can live there we got the cabin and the crazy on the run Chase ended and we finally got a life I'll be happy with for as long as we live me my son and Eric.
