Lucille was born with a rare genetic disease. She had spent most of her childhood in hospitals and never had many friends. When she turned 12, she was admitted under constant care at a hospital. Her mother left when she was 8 and her father stopped contacting her when she was 15. Desperate for friends, she started blogging to keep herself busy and became an inspiration for other teenagers with disabilities. However, at 17, she miraculously started to get better. Ecstatic about her newfound freedom, she left the hospital to travel the world and find herself. Without parents and pinching pennies that she made from her online blog donations, she lived her life as best as she could, borrowing from strangers, traveling on fishing boats, and always giving back to those who needed it more. However, at 19, her symptoms came back. She’s been happy for the past 3 years, and doesn’t plan to go back home. She knows that her time may be limited, but she has so much more to see, love to find, online friends to meet, and so much more ahead of her. She plans to keep her worsening condition hidden as long as possible, but to what extent? Can she finish her bucket list? Maybe she’ll recover again? Not even she could anticipate her future...
