This is A fantasy novel inspired by the ACOTAR series, Sarah J Maas has inspired me a lot and i've attemped to step outside my comfort zone with this book. Evelle the female lead, and a young girl. Was raised by the Ruslka and her three water soldiers in the Sevia rivers. The Ruslka named Sima, is the ancient general of the water tribes. When her kind becomes extinct and amongst the creatures to be hunted down, she comes across a human while she heals from a barbarian attack. After being rescued, Evelle is trained by the soldiers to fight, hunt, and survive. Becoming the only mortal, or being to master there knowledge and power. But when a war arises in Barvak its up to Evelle to save them. Evelle has been having strange nightmares since young, the eyes of a warrior, a curse. Her nightmares may be her downfall, but dreams will certainly be the key...
