Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru were born into Karasu families. They inherited the bloodline but not the darkness — and their families never quite forgave them for it. Now they work for a small, unremarkable psychiatric clinic in Tokyo that is not quite what it appears to be. Satoru sees what has been done to people. Suguru lifts it out of them and carries it himself, for a while, until it fades.
Case by case. Patient by patient. The work is quiet and it costs them both something, and they do not talk about that.
