The Case of Room 307
In the busy city of Mumbai, there was a luxury hotel called Silver Crest. Beautiful, expensive… and hiding something dark.
Room 307 had a history.
Three people had died there in the last five years.
No injuries.
No poison.
No sign of struggle.
Just… found lifeless.
All with the same expression—eyes wide open, as if they had seen something impossible.
The police had no answers.
So they called Inspector Kabir Mehta.
Kabir wasn’t someone who believed in ghost stories. He believed in patterns. And Room 307 had one.
Every victim had stayed exactly one night.
Every death happened at 3:07 AM.
And before dying, each person had made a strange complaint:
"There’s someone else in the room."
Kabir decided to stay there himself.
“Let’s see what’s really going on,” he said confidently.
At night, everything felt normal. The room was clean, silent, comfortable. Kabir checked every corner—nothing unusual.
Midnight passed.
1:00 AM… nothing.
2:00 AM… still nothing.
But at 3:06 AM, something changed.
The digital clock flickered.
3:07.
Kabir suddenly felt… not alone.
He turned slowly toward the mirror.
At first, it showed his reflection.
Then—
The reflection smiled.
Kabir didn’t.
A cold chill ran down his spine.
He stepped forward… and the reflection whispered:
"You weren’t supposed to notice."
Kabir froze.
The lights went out.
Darkness.
Silence.
The next morning, hotel staff found Kabir inside Room 307.
He was lying on the bed.
No injuries.
No marks.
But his eyes… wide open in terror.
The case was closed as “unexplained.”
Room 307 was locked forever.
But here’s the twist…
A week later, a new guest arrived at the hotel.
Due to a “system error,” he was given access to Room 307.
When he entered, everything looked normal.
Except for one thing.
On the mirror, faintly written, as if by a finger…
"Now there are four of us."
Some say if you stand in front of a mirror at exactly 3:07 AM…
You might not be alone.
