The Devil’s Mutation is a claustrophobic horror novel set inside a high-security research facility built on the belief that control is permanent.
Tom is a security guard. Not a scientist. Not a hero. He is paid to follow procedures, watch cameras, and trust that the people above him know what they’re doing. When containment fails and the facility seals itself shut, that trust becomes a liability.
Something inside the compound has begun to change. Not cleanly. Not completely. The victims are not monsters in the way stories usually promise. They are wrong in subtler ways.
