*One-sentence summary:*
In Tagbilaran City, a teenage girl who can physically collect people’s lost emotions helps an empty, grieving boy reclaim the feelings he gave away after a tragedy.
*Full description:*
Mira is 16 and lives in Tagbilaran, Bohol. Since she was 7, she’s had a strange gift: she can see and hold the _feelings_ people lose when something important disappears from their lives. She keeps them safe in glass jars in her room. A vendor’s lost patience. A boy’s lost confidence. Her lola’s lost wedding-ring joy.
Her system breaks when she meets Kian, a new boy at school who radiates nothing. He isn’t sad or angry. He’s empty. Kian tells her he didn’t lose his feelings. He gave them away on purpose after his house in Dauis burned down, killing his dad and dog. If he felt nothing, nothing could hurt him again.
