Synopsis of the plot
That winter, Johnsy became seriously ill with pneumonia. The illness made her despair and thought that when the last ivy leaf fell, it would be time for her to die. Sue extremely worried and wholeheartedly tried to cure you but to no avail, Johnsy is still pessimistic. The poor girl silently counted every leaf of the ivy.
