Sadie is a sweet innocent girl who has just turned thirteen. She lives with her mother, Paige (38), a hair stylist and older brother Peter (15). She is just starting High School which makes her very nervous. From the beginning of the semester Sadie has noticed a girl, Norah, from her class who is very beautiful and popular and brave and Sadie admires her. But Sadie is too shy to even talk to her.
Norah takes an interest in Sadie, when she notices how good Sadie is at art. A subject strangely enough Norah is flunking. Norah wants Sadie to do her art homework for her, but doesn’t want to be too direct about it, so she decides to invite Sadie to go shopping with her and her friends, Lucy (13), Linda (13).
This is where the adventure begins! A slice of live, coming of age story about a sweet girl entering the dark depths of adolescence , peer pressure and basically being bad!
