A new ordeal

"I'm gonna be late!!!"this was the thought crossing my mind in that cold June morning at the start of the year most kids my age would either be dreading or rejoicing. on my part,i have my fair share of dread for it....school

Not because i'm incapable or have a deep reason, I just find it stupid. adults say its a necessity but I don't believe them. cause' seriously are we gonna use geometry in our future jobs!?but for the sake of my collage degree, surviving is the only thing in my mind. although its really hard considering how nocturnal I am mostly sleeping in the day(even class!)even if I woke up early(read:miracle)

I've never been able to sleep earlier than a boundary of 10:00pm. The thing helping people like me getting through this are friends. although how the three of us met isn't that uncommon it is a memorable moment in my life, although arguments acure with outsiders there is always the girly,peace loving gal. I arrived at school 5 minutes late. my teacher Ms.joana is really nice and understood so she let me off with a warning. And I sat down knowing full and well how scary she can be when in a bad mood,maybe ri-ri saw the knowing look on my face cause she smiled a smile that would always calm me down after pep talks although I treat ri-ri as my friend she's more like a little sister and Sylvia leading the charge being literally the oldest, Sylvia is a second year and in the student council as the disciplinary department and with her looks it easily makes her the most popular girl in school. most people thinks that we're just putting up an act because of me being a trouble maker and her being in the student council were putting up an act for the teachers, but because as close as we were we didnt really bother with it knowing that opinions like those aren't welcome, plus what they don't know is that I get scolded by her enough as it is.After school we always meet up at the barracks as we call it at the back of our school. The baracks is like a storage room,not many students go there staff either because only a few things(that aren't really needed) are kept inside. it has white tiles and with light brown walls while the pillars at each corner were dark brown on the left side though it has broken windows covered by vines because of the trees nearby and but unusualy there were a lot of cats. but what I saw didnt shock me, it was I what I didnt see was what shook me. Sylvia who was always scolding me for being late was no where to be found. but I saw ri-ri petting petting some of the cats that were friendly so i walked a few steps when the cats ran off through the crack in the window,ri-ri noticing the sorry look on my face let it slide--for now atleast "hey ri whats up,wheres slvi?"i said with a curious tone "i don't know maybe she's caugh-" ri-ri was stoped short when we heard yelling outside."Ill go check it out,sit tight k?"i said while standing up i was already opening the door when a loud groan from Sylvia greeted me while face palming accompanied by furrowed brows. She must've noticed me because her face was practically beaming with relief then a strategic look suddenly washed over her face and instinctively i looked away--that was when i saw HIM.Zeke, he was the guy at the top of my annoying bully list, I've known him since kindergarten when i was just a transferee and was a little underaverage in the height department than he was,and i had such bad luck to be seated next to him for a whole year year."hey..shortie" he said smirking "hey jerk"i said and that must've done it because he started to return the gesture when Sylvia stopped him."guys..I as an official disciplinary board member-"she said with an aloof smirk on her face(which is NEW)"notify Ms.Mattie Gray and Mr.Zeke Wells about the decision the student council has made to further deepen the-oh I'll just cut the crap.you guys are gonna be buddies"she said with a beautiful sarcastic smirk lighting up her face"wha-why-him!?"i said i felt like i was in kindergarten again but this time i wasnt about to let him have control."Matt can i please talk to you for a sec"she said motioning the front corner of the barracks."Matt he's been the cause of many fights"she said"I get into plenty of fights on my own!How can i-a proud hooligan-barely controlling myself from braking rules on my own control another hooligan!?"i said maybe a little too loud cause ri-ri turned to look at us,zeke too i gave him a little look and he replied with an equally annoying look(read:i hate him so much)."Look, if you watch him for the rest of the school year,i promise you ill buy you atleast 5 mangas and 5 anime merchandises"she said

The next day i got into a fight,but with someome whom i didnt even realize had the nerves to even try,it was after school i was heading to the bakery near the vacant lot behind the school,i like to buy their Spanish bread(its really good!)when i noticed her waiting behind the tree separating the bakery and the lot "you can come out now,i already know your there anyways"i said putting my hand on my waist"you really are a hooligan aren't you ms.Mattie Gray?"she said really satisfied with her reply,she was wearing a chekered brown skirt,which meant she was from my school she also had a navy blue leotard,with a white blouse and a black bow,she has long copper red hair reaching her waist she's as tall as me i think "yeah,well maybe I'm just not an idiot,"i said,she gritted her teeth in anger"if your gonna follow someone at least have the decency to not hide behind trees,its making the tree look ugly"i swear i saw faint hint of smoke coming out of her ears,she lunged at me but i dodged she tried to grab my hair but i grabbed hers first"look,i don't know what i did to you but im sorry OK?"i said trying to calm her down she chuckled,I was shocked"youre seriously trying to play innocent or are you just rubbing it in?"she said like i was supposed to know,but i didn't"you must have done something to him"she said i let go of her hair she stood slowly stood up her back in front of me"who's 'him'!?"i said really impatiently"you really don't get it,Do you or are you just taking him lightly?"she said looking right in my eyes like i was some villain or robber that was being convicted but didn't realize it was happening
