Chapter 1 Maybe i should've

Masugo is a young boy in Laisan high school. Tall and pretty like a flower but as fragile as a flower as well.He doesn't have any friends and likes to stay alone most of the time but can a girl change his world?Find out.

It was almost nine in the morning,when masugo's mother opened the curtain wide open. The sunlight fell onto his pale face.

He covered his face with a pillow. The next thing he knew his mother dragged him out of the bed. He finally got up and went to the bathroom and then had his breakfast. One hour later he was ready for school. On his way he saw two boys with tall and huge figures, they were the bullies he feared the most. He hid himself behind an electric pole and waited quitely till they dissappeared out of his side,because of which he was late for school. The moment he entered his classeoom he was already ten minutes late. Obiviously he was punished for being late but the one thing he was actually worried about was the girl he liked since kindergarten was absent again.

Nogumi the second most popular girl in Laisan high school. She is kinda arrogant and rude sometimes all she cared about was to become the most popular and pretty girl in her school.Most of the girls didn't liked hee mucb she had a small feiwnd circle. But it has already been a month since she didn't attended school.

The bell rang and the recess began. Masugo sat at his table glaring at his lunch which he brought especially for Nogumi. The bullies came, took his lunch and sat on their respective seats eating Masugo's lunch. Masugo clenched his fists he couldn't take it anymore he went straight to them and said 'Give me back my lunch.Its not yours to take' The next thing he knew rabuto landed a punch on his face. He said 'The strong take whatever they want, and the weak keep quite'.

Blood ran out of his broken nose like a stream.He was on his way to the restroom, when he heard some girls saying' Did you heard Nogumi has bone cancer she might die any second now. Serves her right'.

It felt like his world just crumbled. The reason he came to school everyday, the reason he wanted to study hard and get a stable job,the reason he wanted to live a little more everyday was dying.

He took his bag and ran back to his home and locked himself in his room. His parents were worried dead but everytime they asked what happened he would reply 'Nothing happened it's just that I'm not feeling well' where as he didn't sleep for the last 9 days yet everytime he looked at the photos of Nogumi he took secretly at school functions(Not a pervert) He would cry and would start to talk to himself saying 'Maybe I should've tried to be friends with her,so that i could at least cherish her memories?maybe i should've asked how she felt about me or maybe i should've told her how I felt about her.'

Maybe I should've.......and then he falls asleep
