Epologue

“Hey, move faster! We’re getting late!”

I suddenly woke up because of the loud knocks at the door. I didn’t notice the time. The time where I must already there but here I am, still sleeping while wearing the clothes that I wore from yesterday.

“Are you awake now?! Please get down already! The breakfast is getting cold!”

I suddenly jump out of my bed to get my self prepair because I know he won’t stop pestering me.

I took a bath for only 3 minutes because I can’t stand the cold water. I wore the new clothes that already prepaired at my closet and lastly, I wore the ring that he gave to me. For the last time, I looked at the mirror to see if I’m ready but all I see is a person standing there with a sad eyes and pale skin.

“I wan’t to lay down” I murmured but I still walk out at my room to eat.

While walking down the stairs, I saw them playing again at my books while holding a glass of milk. I chuckled when they both chocked after they saw me and ran towards at me.

“Are you okay? Do you need something?” He said while holding my left hand tightly.

I smiled when the other one hugged me from the back of my leg. “Please stay and take a rest with us”

I hold their hands and kissed them there.

“Are worrying about me? Of course I’m okay. You both already made my day so you better not to worry because-“

“Because you know I’m strong.. geez, stop using that because we know you’re not.”

I burst to laugh when they both spilled the last words that I always tell.

“C’mon, hug me, what do you want for dinner?” I hugged them tightly while carresing their backs to gave them a signal to calm.

“I want to eat Sinigang” He shouted while dancing.

“Me too! Please\~” He murmur while hugging me.

I can feel their warm love sorrounding at the four corners of our home. I feel so relief when I realized that there’s still someone waiting for me to wake up.

“Let’s go, we need to hurry because the bus will came after 10 minutes!”

I came back at my self when I hear their voices at the kitchen. They both eat nicely while serving each other. It makes me sad beause I never thought that he will never see this happening.

After we eat, I prepair their food at their bag for their miryenda. This is the day where they need to test if they both got his genes.

“Goodbye, please don’t let your self be close from the others, okay?” He said while kissing me at my left cheeks.

I chuckled when I heard his last words before they took the bus. I signed while waiving at them and start walking. This is my routine now.

I will go to my work and after that, I will visit the place to see if he is there, if he’s still waiting for me.

All I do is to think while walking and I didn’t notice that I bumped at someone.

“Ouch, please be careful next time!” I shout because I can feel the dizziness at my head.

I closed my eyes for about a minute to make my vision clear, but I gasped when I smelled the sweet scent lingerin on my nose. The scent of a sweet vanilla and flowers.

I can feel my tears starting to flow but I stopped when I heard another voice coming from far.

‘Wait, what is this, why do I feel so soffucated’

“I’m so sorry, are you okay? Here, let me help you” a sweet yet nice voice came at my back while helping me to get up.

I can feel the tip of my fingers getting cold. I know that voice but I don’t want to show my face because I can’t accept this situations.

I only bowed at them and start running while controling my tears not to fall. I know I look dumb at this moment but I can’t stop getting hurt.

Before I came back at myself, I hear a small rings of bells and after that, I suddenly hear the loud shouts and honked. But it’s too late now. All I can feel now is pain. Pain that I’ve been keeping since that day.

“I missed you”

That is the last word that I said when I saw his face before I closed my eyes.
