Darkest Green!
Drops of sweat gathered around my chin. It fell towards earth reminding me of the pin-drop silence of the room. I tried to move my hands forward to wipe away the sweats, only to find them tied behind my back. Panic rose inside me. I looked around, but the room was too dark to see anything. A low growl came from somewhere. took me a moment to realise that it was coming from my stomach. How long had it been since I was trapped here? Why had no one come to help me? Where's my family? family?? Did I have any family? Did I lose my memory? Why could I not remember anyone? Who was I? Where was I?
A door opened to my left. I squeezed my eyes shut at the sudden exposure of bright light coming from outside. It seemed I had spent a long time in this dark confined space. As footsteps came closer, I could hear my own heart throbbing crazily inside me. I looked up. A girl in her mid-twenties was staring at me with her cold emotionless eyes. She had a plate in one hand and a glass of water in the other. She put down the plate on the floor and looked at me. "Eat this." She said. Her voice was smooth and soft, unlike her cold harsh eyes. A faint mark of cut could be seen on her left cheek. "Where am I?" I asked, my voice was like a whisper. I hated my voice at that moment. She gave me one glance, got up and left the room, door closed. Oh God, What am I woken up to???
I looked at the plate, one bread and one banana. My stomach was growling, but my hands were tied. At least she could have loosened my hands, I thought. Lowering my head I tried to reach the plate. Suddenly, I heard a click and the heavy feeling around one of my hand lifted. Bringing forth my hand I looked at them in shock. The cuff that was tied to my both hands is now wrapped around my left hand like a bracelet. I tried to get it out of my hand, but no matter how much force I applied it didn't even move, as if it had been specifically made for me. I tried for a long time but failed. Exhausted from all of this, I picked up the brown bread.
I opened my eyes, it's not dark anymore. Someone was near, two voices, they were bickering. I tried to get up, one step at a time and moved toward the source of the voices. Leaning against the wall I dragged my body but could not walk much and fell to the ground with a loud thud. Bickering ceased and I could see four legs scurrying towards me. "Let's get her out of here first," one of the voice said. I tried to lift my eyes to see their faces but everything was a blur. The next moment, two muscular arms lifted me and started to run. There was a familiar scent on him, a scent with which I might have an attachment. I rested my hand on his chest and fell into a deep slumber.
