who finds centipedes as gross?

yes, it's story of real centipede.

Everyone knows there is sky, right?

Blue sky where clouds roams freely as air currents move them. But I am taking about night sky, which is black, although clouds are there, scattered in themselves. Stars are twinkling in that night sky. Moon is shining in white light. light is falling on earth.

Down there, there was a forest, a forest where animals and insects and many other species lives, their home, a forest with many trees.

There was a tree in somewhere middle of this forest. It is night time, but still moon was there, not full moon night, but still enough moon light to see things in surroundings.

Our centipede, who also lives in that forest came out from darkness of that forest where it usually stay inactive while daytime. Yes, centipedes are nocturnal so they come out in night time. Our centipede is not big enough to scare others either, but still everyone in world risks their lives to survive, and as food is necessary for survival, every organism go to find food, as our centipede doing too.

Centipede came out, crawling on that tree branch, as centipedes have low vision power, they uses thier tentacles to detect their prey, our centipede doing same. Moving it's tentacles around and trying to find it's prey. It stopped moving, it got smell of it's prey, now it is moving towards its prey in speed, reaches there, but now what?

What is there is another centipede, bigger than itself. And yea, centipedes eat own species too. Should our centipede get eaten by that bigger centipede as food for gaining it's own prey or our centipede leaves right there for finding new prey? Who knows what is best, what if our centipede decides to fight? what if our centipede run away? our centipede have two options, easy options, right? what to do there now?

Our centipede decided to fight, as it doesn't know strength of other centipede.

On the other hand that other centipede is bigger so yea, it has advantage over our centipede. Both showing their fangs or so called their first claws or pair of legs to eachother, if anyone won't pull back, there will be fight, fight between those both, but yes this fight won't be to decide life and death, this fight is for their common prey which both shares, both are hungry, both need that prey to feed their own self, to keep on living.

What is conclusion of trying to scare opponent by showing their size and poisonous pair of legs? It's simple, our centipede decides to retreat, as it lacks in size.

Our centipede pulling itself back from that unnecessary fight, saving it's energy for further night where it can find a new prey or if someone tries to attack on it, it can help itself to run away or fight back.
