The New Student

“BEEP BEEP, BEEP BEEP. Wake up Fliora it’s 5:00am. Wake up Fliora it’s 5:00 am. BEEP BEEP BEEP” , a digital female voice came up from her AI assistant, Rozen lying beside her bed. This voice was exactly similar to her mom’s voice. Fliora stretched herself and said, “I’m up. Good Morning, Rozen.”,''Good morning, Fliora. Get ready for your morning workout routine. "And this is how her day started. It was followed by morning math practice and playing violin and then the Grand Piano.

“Time for your breakfast.” This made Fliora excited. She loved breakfast, lunch and dinner time. Not because she loved eating, because these were the times when she virtually had her meal with her parents. Her dad,  Mr Robert Lee lived in New York and her mother, Mrs. Yelena Lee  lived in Los Angeles, California. Fliora stayed in Seoul, South Korea where she was sent to the top and the most disciplined school. Her parents sent her to school only because they wanted her to be good at socializing.

“ So everything’s fine this morning?”

”Yes. Mom, what about you?”

“Oh! My company just got an order of a whopping three million dollars from a 12 year old! I was informed about it last night. It's just a single customer buying for herself.”

“Who is this girl? I am the same age as her!”

“Her name is Julie Kim. She must be a spoiled girl. Mrs.Flores has personally talked to her about the order details and she said that the girl sounded quite arrogant. ”

Her dad interrupted, “ I hope you all remember that our one month annual vacation tour is coming closer. Mr. Davis has already sent you the destination list. Please go through the list before lunch today.”Mr Davis was his personal assistant.

Vacation month was the best month for Fliora. She could finally get a long break from her busy and boring schedule. This one month long tour gave her family a chance to spend quality time with each other.

At 8:00 am she left for school(in her personal Rolls Royce) and reached her school at 8:30 am. Within that half an hour time period, Fliora took a quick check of the destination list of the vacation tour sent by Mr. Davis.

When she reached her school, her best friend Lia was discussing the arrival of a new student with others. The moment Fliora entered the classroom, many girls crowded around her and started gossiping about the new student. Flora was one of the popular girls in her school. She was known for her beauty, Incredible acting skills, and she was the fastest athlete among girls.

”Hey Fliora, Do you know about the new student who has joined school?”

“no , but how did you come to know? "replied Fliora.

“ Look at the update screen?” said Lia as she pointed towards the screen. It read -  A NEW STUDENT WILL BE JOINING OUR CLASS TODAY.

“But how could he/she be joining  in the middle of the year? Our term is not over yet?” asked Lia.

One of them replied, "The student must be extremely talented. The school permits only highly talented students in this case.”

“Oh God! curiosity is eating up my head.”

After a minute, a digital voice spoke up,” everyone please be seated now. The teacher is coming in 10 secs.” And exactly in 10 secs the teacher entered the classroom. Everyone was spellbound to see her beauty and her glamour. It was not the teacher, but the new student.

The teacher asked her to introduce herself to the class. Her introduction shocked Fliora the most.
