The Gift

''What do you want? Wait. Who and where are you?'' Said Asher with a confused look. ''Im your friend now.'' Said the unknown voice. This was the first time Asher heard the mysterious voice. He was 10 years old by that time. At first he just thought it was his imagination. But little did he know that voice would return to haunt him after 4 years.

4 years later,

Asher was 14 years old and he also had a 7 years old brother. One morning Asher woke up to the sound of his parents arguing. His mother was well dressed out while his father kept yelling at her saying where she was going. After his mother left, his father looked at Asher with disappointing eyes. Asher was questioning himself whether he had done something wrong. Later that evening his mother returned home with alcohol cans in her bag and also a lot of hickeys.

''This is my gift to you my dear friend'' Said an unknown voice.

''huh? Whos there?'' Replied Asher.

Ashers father was an alcoholic since he was a teen. When he saw the state of his wife, he left the house immediately. Asher loved his mother more than anything in this world and hated his father as he would hit him when he is drunk or mentally disturb him.

''Mom?''

''Mom please talk to me. Why did you do this'' Unfortunately Asher did not hear any reponse. Later that evening his dad came home drunk. That night they had a big fight and his father kicked her out along with Asher and his brother.

''I DONT NEED A SL*T AND A FAG**T IN MY HOUSE!! TAKE ALL OF YOU F**K OFF!!

that night was really hard for Asher. Luckily my uncle welcomed us at his place so we had a place to stay that night.

''Hope you liked it, this was only the beginning....''

Who was that unknown voice that was messing with Asher?

Ashers mind:

My mother was an indipendent woman. She was someone strong who looked after 3 people by herself. Even my father because he would sometimes not go to work and drink also when he needed money he would always ask m mother. She paid lots of my fathers depts. I respect her a lot. Even after that incident, i still love her. And personally i think that she did nothing wrong at all. She just found someone she loved and who also loved her back. Her boyfriend really helped us out in the following events.
