lonely moon

The moon was always feeling lonely .Even though the stars were near him . They weren't always there everyday and he wanted to befriend the sun , but the sun would rise .while the moon is down and the sun would set , while the moon is up , therefore they couldn't meet , so he desperately wanted someone company , but one day he saw a human that caught his attention . The human girl would always come every night while crying and singing beside the river and without noticing the moon would always follow her around . He really wanted to know why she comes looking like that everynight , but he discovered that she lived a really normal life .The moon was a shy person , but he really wanted to know her story ,so he gathered all his courage and decide to ask the little girl . He asked "why are you crying ?"

she answered "I feel so lonely and insecure so i never really opened up to someone "

the moon's pov " I actually understand the feeling of being lonely "

then the moon asked ," why are you singing ?"

she answered "there is this legend that says that if you sing this song every night beside the river , then maybe the moon will Hear your voice and grant your wish ,but it looks like my wish already came true "

the little girl's point of view " actually my wish was not wanting to be lonely anymore ,so it looks like the moon will keep me great company " she said while wiping her tears and then gave a small smile .

then the moon told her " let's make a promise to never leave each other forever "

she excitedly agreed .

and from that day on the little girl would come ever night just to chat with her friend the moon . and days passed , seasons changed and tears went by . Until the little girl wasn't little anymore . To the point that she had wrinkles on her face and couldn't walk properly , but she still came to see her friend . Until one day she stopped coming suddenly . and the moon knew immediately that she was long gone . but after her passing with a couple of days . A huge , bright , sparkling star appeared next to the moon , so he hoped that the human girl came to see him again ,but in a different form . He thought maybe she couldn't bare to leave him cause still a promise is a promise , maybe or maybe not , but the moon felt comfort in that thought . so let's leave the story at that.

Thanks for the person who actually took time of their day to read my short story . There will be no more chapters . Actually I came up with this story on the spot for my siblings and they seemed to enjoy it so please don't judge me too harshly . I really enjoyed making this story and seeing my siblings eye sparkle with excitement and lastly I have a question do you think the human girl was reborn as the star or not ??
