How did ghouls fall in love?

Today

I was at Draculaura’s house looking at the pictures of her boyfriends. “Who is this?” I asked looking at a picture of a romantic vampire. “His name is Valentine,” she said. “He’s kind of ugly,” I said. She chuckled. “And who is this?” I asked. “And why does he look so familiar.” “That’s Clawd silly,” she said.

August 1864

“Are you sure you want to wear those dresses?” Clawd asked Clawdeen and Howleen. “We need the monsters to notice us,” said Howleen. “Only you want them to notice us,” said Clawdeen. “We don’t.” “You’re so lucky Clawd,” said Howleen. “I haven’t even found true love yet,” said Clawd. “Because unlike us ghouls, you don’t know what it’s like to wear a stupid corset,” said Clawdeen. “Then why wear them?” Clawd asked. “Because we look fabulous,” said Howleen.

On the first day of school, Draculaura was walking down the hallway as she ran into Clawd. The Wolf siblings were new to Monster High. He was the most gorgeous man she’d ever seen in her life. He was probably better than Valentine. “Are you alright?” she asked. “I don’t think I’ve seen you here before.” “My sisters and I are new here,” he said. She held put her hand. Clawd tried to take it but immediately swiped it away. “Ouch,” he said. “Your ring, it’s silver.” “Oh,” Draculaura said. She took her silver ring off and threw it away. “Excuse me,” Cleo said. For some reason she didn’t wear a dress or a corset. That’s how popular she was. “Get over here,” said Deuce. She came towards them. “What are you doing?” Draculaura asked. “That gorgeous man was talking to me.” “Don’t worry,” Cleo said. “There are a lot of gorgeous men at Monster High.” “Yeah,” said Deuce. “And I think that dude’s sisters are screaming because you called him gorgeous.” “Oh my ghoul,” said Howleen. “She called you gorgeous,” said Clawdeen. Clawd was a bit serious while his sisters were screaming in delight.

A few days later

The wolf siblings were at a ball. The entire school was there. They put on their best clothes. The couples were waltzing to beautiful music. Draculaura and Clawdeen were hanging out together. “I want you to say hello to someone,” said Clawdeen. “Clawd this is Draculaura. Draculaura, this is Clawd.” “We’ve met before,” said Draculaura. “Care to dance?” “I thought you’d never ask,” Clawd said charmingly. They waltzed with the other couples. “Why are you staring at me like that?” Clawd asked. “I‘ve never danced with a werewolf before,” Draculaura answered. “Well I’ve never danced with anyone before,” said Clawd. The other couples stopped dancing just to look at them. “Why’d they stop?” Clawd asked. “So they could see us,” Draculaura answered. “Just keep dancing.” “You make it sound so romantic,” said Clawd. “That’s because it is,” said Draculaura. “Draculaura,” said Clawd. “You know we just met right?” “Do you believe in love at first sight?” she asked. “I’ve heard of it,” he answered. “I never thought it was real- Draculaura.” She kissed his lips. Draculaura had never kissed a man before. Everyone looked at the beautiful couple. They said that a vampire and a werewolf could never be together, but they were wrong. That night when Clawd was asleep, Draculaura was standing in front of his bed. He opened his eyes, and thought she was standing there watching him sleep. He turned on the lamp. “Draculaura?” he asked softly. She was gone. He thought he was dreaming. His sisters laughed. “Will you shut up?” he asked his sisters. “I’m trying to sleep.”

Wolf Manor tonight

I was in the neighborhood and saw a grave next to a lovely mansion. “Here lies Clawrence Wolf, 1775-1861”. And the Wolf siblings were right next to it holding umbrellas, even though it wasn’t stormy outside. “Why are you guys holding umbrellas?” I asked. It’s not even storming yet.” “I know,” said Clawdeen. “It’s just the full moon. We never go outside without them when the full moon is out.” “And you better get back,” said Clawd. “You don’t want to electrocute somebody.” “There’s going to be one heck of a storm,” said Howleen. “It’s the first storm of the season.”

Wolf Manor interior

The Wolf siblings locked the outside doors and windows, closed all the curtains, and slept in their extra room. It had four beds, three couches, a tv, a pool table, a table tennis table, and a bunch of enormous bean bags. Clawd, Clawdeen and Howleen put on their striped and buttoned pajamas, got on the bean bags, turned on their favorite tv show which was teen wolf, and they talked to each other. “Do you think the normi’s would ever kill us?” asked Clawdeen. “Clawdeen that would never happen,” said Clawd. “Well you did save us from dying,” said Howleen. “Even though we couldn’t keep father from dying,” said Clawdeen. The other two looked at her worryingly. She never got over their fathers death. Sometimes she even thought it was her fault since she didn’t go out to save him. And she knows whats the worst part of being a hero. It’s that you can’t save everyone. Even your loved ones like a family member. The Wolf siblings gave each other side hugs and went to sleep. Clawdeen however cried herself to sleep. Clawd was already asleep before he could wake up and comfort his sister which he would usually do when she was crying about their father.
