Episode 2

One sting turns into a burn and that turns into me screaming bloody murder, A soft palm lands on my shoulder and I gasp then my eyes shot open. Sparrow stares at me deeply then I realize I’m at a house on a couch that's pretty comfortable.

“What happened?” The words slip out of my mouth like vomit. “Something turned into me and when you blinked or looked away it got behind me and acted like me, does that make sense to you?” I look at her for a minute then shake my head no because I honestly don’t have a clue what she’s talking about. I take a deep breath and sit up where I can see her properly, she sits in a rocking chair in front of me. “I’m still in this suit I see.” She smiles and nods her head. “I’ll look into that soon, right now you need to get more rest and I’ll tell you everything tomorrow. It’s past two in the morning.” I’m shocked that I slept that long. “What’s today?” She stands up and walks towards me. “Good night Cameron.” She heads to a room, opens the door, and walks in then closes the door again. Probably to keep me away from her.

When I fell asleep the same dream popped up again, the clown and the bed frame oh also the bloody sharp teeth that frightened me half to death. The sun hits my eyes, I move my arm over my head then I smell something cooking in the kitchen. “Good morning clown head!” I sigh. “Great It’s not a dream then.” She laughs but I sigh and try to sink into the couch. “Ohhh get up lazy butt! We got work to do after breakfast. Do you like pancakes or eggs?” I sigh again and sit up. I look at her with disgust. “I don’t eat that stuff.” She doesn't believe me, I can tell from the look on her face. “Alright alright I’ll have some eggs.” She smiles “Ok come to the table Mr. Lazy Pants. I roll my eyes and smile back then get up to go to the table then find myself a spot to sit at.

She brings me my plate, then sits by me with her sweet pancakes that have butter on the top of the stack and hot syrup running down the sides. “So…” I say after we already ate half of our food, “Why am I a clown?” she gulps her last bite and grabs a napkin to wipe her face. “We are going to a lab at noon today.” I nod my head and scarf down the rest of the eggs. Sparrow starts to say something then someone knocks on the door. “Stay here.” She stands up and walks to the front door. I grab the last napkin and wipe my face to see if the makeup will come off then I hear a loud gasp and half of a scream.

Thumping comes through the door, I start to panic and drop to the ground then carefully and quietly go under the table. “Come out! Come out! Wherever you are! Twit!” A man with a ruff voice speaks loudly and doesn’t look so pleased when I take a couple seconds to look out from under the table. He turns his head quickly to see if anyone comes out of a hiding place, possibly me, I stay quiet. Then I feel something hit my leg hard and I start to panic.
