"All right class that would be all for today, I want all your reports in by next class and not excuses from anyone the report must be turned in by next class!! Alright Ciao!!"

The class ends and everyone starts packing up to move to their next class, while Jeremy is beside me talking my ears of I pack up my books getting read for the next class

I decided to take a glance of Acel before leaving the classroom... for a weird reason he looks familiar

I walk out of the classroom to my next class with Jeremy,

Jeremy and I have almost all our classes together even though he can be annoying I still love the dude

after I came back from my trip in France for piano training and had to move because of my parents sudden increase in wealth, I had to move to a fancy middle school and no one would talk to me because I was a "colored" child, *what the **** does colored mean* Jeremy was the only one who would talk to me he said he liked my aura although I knew that was false Jeremy was an outcast no one would talk to him, and he would be made fun of because his mom was "special"

But since then we've been inseparable, but I wouldn't really say that again nowadays Jeremy's been distant he hardly talks to me about stuff we only talk like during class after school we don't talk, I guess I may end up being alone...

"Dude I've been talking to you did you even hear what I was saying"

I shake my head telling him no

"Ha~ you'll never change will you"

We start giggling as we walk through the hallway to our next class

Everyone rushes out of the class and me and Jeremy go along with them,

I intertwine my fingers with Jeremy's it's something we do we're those kind of friends there's a lot of skinship involved in our friendship not the romantic or sexual kind but the type of emotional support kind

I look around the hallway as we make our way for the exit I see Acel staring at

Jeremy's and my intertwined fingers I quickly let go of Jeremy's hands I try to make it not noticeable, but Jeremy noticed we stop and stare at each other for a few seconds before Jeremy walks away with his back to me, I watch him walk out the door and I receive a text

"It's from Jeremy"

Jeremy: talk to you later gotta go🤪😚

Me: See you tater then or whenever

Jeremy: ..... ??

I hesitate before I type back

Me: I don't see you around much lately is everything alright..... you know you can always talk to me....

......

Jeremy: everything is OK 🙄😳😂

Me: are you sure??

Jeremy: yeah why would I lie??😗

Me: OK see ya

Liar why does he keep lying to me everything's not OK
