tired of waiting

< Narrator's POV >

"hey!! lets go or we're ganna be late come on" the dark brown haired boy said as he wore his shoes and went out

"Wha- Hey wait!, bye mom...bye dad!" the blonde haired girl said as she ran out of her house."bye honey" her parents saod in unsion.

"hey why did you leave ?" the girl whined at her best friend as she catch up with him

"hehe sorry... its just I don't want to be late" he said as he ruffled her hair, but not too much. She swat his hand away and looked away while pouting and stopped walking. 

The boy also stopped walking. "aww... come on where ganna be late" he said again as he turned around and took out his hand.

The girl looked at the hand in front of her and back at the boy. She took the hand and hugged the boy "Don't ever leave me again, Okay?" she said, the boy nod his head and the girl smiled. They started walking to school with intertwined hands.

< Claire's POV \>

Ringgg... Ringgg... Ringgg...

I groaned as I raised my hand and tried to stop the ringing but sadly I hit nothing 'Oh yeah I placed it near the door'  I thought as I mentally facepalm. I covered my ears with a pillow, hoping that it will stop the ringing to to no avail I could still hear it.

I groaned again but this time I crawled off her comfy, soft bed and tried to reach my clock. My room is decorated with my favorite pastel shade which is lavender but my walls are covered with posters of her favorite K pop groups and anime. The ceiling of the my room was beige which was decorated with glow in the dark stars and moon \[Tsukki?!\]. On the far right side of my bed was my door which has a lot to stuff hanging on it. On the left side of my bed was a terrace looking window where I would make melodies with my guitar.

I tried to reach the alarm without standing up but it was too high so I finally stand up and stop the alarm. But as I was about to go back to her bed, there we're some knocking on her door.

 At first its has soft knocks some time later that person who was softly knocking turned into loud banging. I groaned AGAIN and open the door

"You should have a good explanation on why waking me up" I said while looking straight in the eyes to whoever was knocking, it was Lucas my childhood friend since diapers era.

 He gulped and chuckled "sorry to wake you up princess but its time to go to school... unless you don't want to go with me" he smirked and turned around and left. I looked at him with shock on my face, quickly I slammed the door and did my morning routine. 

~10 minutes later~

I ran down the stairs with some of my shirt buttons still unbutton and my socks are still on my hands. I sat down on the sofa and wore my sock immediately and went to the table and ate my food. 

Once I'm done I ran towards the door but stopped. I kissed her mother and father and said 'good bye'.

I ran to Lucas and hit his arm "He\- Ouch, whats that for?" he said as he rub the part where I hit him. "You didn't wait for me" I said as I pouted. "Hehe Sorry Let g\- Hey Lissa over here!" he said as he waved his hand to get the attention of a certain dark brown haired girl. " hi Lucas, hi Claire" she said with a smile as she goes towards us. 'hi' are being exchanged between us.

I just met Lissa 2 years ago when Lucas' club performed a dance on a event of the school.

After the "reunion", we started walking again. I stayed at the back of the two, because I don't want to interfere.

I can see how he looked at her, his eyes are shining whenever she laugh at whatever he made a joke ,that is old. They look perfect together, they have the same height, and both of them are popular, I'm just girl who 'hang with them'

Then they turned around and looked at me "Hey I asked you a question" Lucas said with a chuckle. "hu\- wha\- huh?" I asked confused. The two of them laughed a little. "Hey ! what did you say?" I asked slightly irritated. 

Lucas wiped the tears as he stopped and looked at me. "We asked you if you want to join us to the arcade after school" he asked. I stop to think. "Nah I have homework and project to do." I lied "Ok good luck with that homework, Lucas I'll get going already Bye!" Lissa said and left us. "You like her don't you?" I asked once she left. He blushed and it broke my heart. "Was it THAT obvious?" he asked still blushing 'so cute' I thought while nodding.

He let out a long sigh "I think I'll tell her how I feel later" he said and continue walking, it broke my heart but I know he'll only see me as a little sister but as long as he's happy...so why not.

With a loud sigh I continue walking. We entered our classroom and sat down. I sat down near the window and Lucas sat behind me. The teacher entered minutes later and started the class.

The day ended and I stand up and left the school. Lissa came to our class awhile ago and fetched Lucas

~~Flash back~~

The teacher left and we were talking when the door opened and there is Lissa with a huge smile on her face.

"Hey guys" she said while waving at us, we waved back. "So let's go?" she said "yeah" Lucas said as he stood up "Bye Claire" he said as they leave the classroom.

~~Flash back end~~

Now here I'am walking home. "I'm home" I said with a tired voice. 

Mom's head popped from the door of the kitchen "Oh sweetie welcome home" I gave a small smile and head towards my room. I lay down on my bed placed my hand on my head, and closed my eyes then I drifted to sleep

I woke up later and saw that it's dark outside. I stood up and head down stairs and wore my shoes. "Honey where are you going?" My mom asked, "I'll go to the convenience store and buy something" I said as I wore my shoes. I opened the door and there stood my father looking tired as ever. "I'll just go to the convenience store" I said to dad and he nodded as he kissed my forehead.

I left the house and head towards the nearest convenience store and went inside. I bought some chips and soda and I went to the counter.

"wha\- I know I placed it here" the guy before me said as he reached for his pocket. He has black hair and with aqua\-ish blue eyes. "E\-excuse me?" I said "you want I can pay for you?" I asked "Really?" he asked and I nodded. I paid both mine and his food, and headed outside. I stopped at my tracks and saw something unravel before me.

I saw Lissa and Lucas...

As I turned I accidentally around bumped onto someone. "I'm sorry" I said as I went back inside. I sat on the chair in the store and rest my head there. Then someone sat beside me I looked up and saw the same black haired at the line. 

"you forgot something?" I aske with a sad chuckle. "You know you should tell him" he said and I sat up straight. I let out a sigh and faced him "I can't I don't want our friendship to be ruined" I said with a sigh again. "anyways Hello I'm Caleb" he\- Caleb said as he took out his hand. I shook his hand and replied "Hello my name is Claire" I said as we both let go.

Caleb dropped me at his house and found out that he lives right across ours. What a coincidence right?!  We told good\-bye at each other and I went inside. "I'm Home!" I said as I went straight to my room. I lay the food on my table and started rewriting my notes. 

Minutes later I got tired to writing and lay my head on the table then I slowly drifted to sleep.

'I'm so tired, so tired or waiting'
