"I promise that I'll be the one to wait infront of altar while you walk down the aisle."

"I promise to give you the wedding that you've always dreamed of."

"I promise that it will always be you, only you."

"Sa simbahan pa rin ang tuloy natin kahit anong mangyari."

I suddenly remembered those five promises that I will never forget. I'm here in a botique to help my friend choose the gown that she'll wear in her dream wedding.

"Aren't we going to choose yet?" I said 'cause hell I'm getting bored. We've been here for almost thirty minutes doing nothing.

"Let's just wait for my fiance, he's near na naman daw e."

10 minutes have passed when a man entered the botique.

"Oh, you're there!" I heard my bestfriend as she walks closer to the man.

I looked at him and my bestfriend, all I can see is their genuine smile that is full of happiness.

I suddenly feel envious.

Days have passed and today is the day of her wedding. I was there the whole time, from the start 'till the wedding ceremony ends. I've witnessed how the two of them exchange their vows. I've witnessed how my friend walk down the aisle. I've witnessed how they kiss infront of all the guests.

I suddenly thought of something. That should be me who's walking down the aisle. That should be me who's exchanging vows with the groom. And that should be me who he kissed infront of all the guests. Because the man that married my bestfriend, is the man who promised me that five promises that I will never forget.

Tama s'ya sa simbahan pa din ang tuloy. Pero hindi na para sa'kin, kundi para sa kaibigan ko.

The man who promised to marry me, is now infront of me happily married with my bestfriend.
