...It's been 3 hours where is he??...

...He promised me he will come back. Where is he now? His phone is also unreachable. I hope he is safe....

...Nancy was waiting at the park for her best friend Jim. Today was her 18th birthday. He told her to wait at the park. He will be giving her the best gift. But now he is unreachable....

...An unknown fear was taking over Nancy....

Nancy:- where are you Jim!?

...Suddenly her mom called her. She immediately picked up the call....

Otp:mom:- hello Nancy?

Nancy:- yes mom?

Otp:mom:- child come home fast. We all are waiting.

Nancy :- okay mom I am coming.

She hunged up the call.

Nancy:- I guess he pranked me. Congratulations Jim your prank was successful.

...Nancy left the park. She came back home. Her parents had organized a small dinner at their home. It was only her parents and her 2 elder brothers. While dinner she was disturbed. Her father noticed it. So he asked....

Dad:- honey are you okay...?

Nancy:- yes dad I am perfectly fine... It's just..

Dad:- what?

Nancy:- Jim has not wished me yet. My dad is going to end soon.

Dad:- don't worry he might be planning something big.

Nancy :- maybe..

Dad:- don't worry..

Nancy :- okay dad (smiles)

...Suddenly someone called on dad's phone....

...He picked up the call....

Dad:- yes who is this..?........WHAT!? HOW!? WHEN!?..... OH... OKAY WE ARE COMING..

...He hunged up the call....

Mom:- honey what's wrong??

Dad:- actually it was Jim's dad..

Nancy :- why would he call you??

Dad:- actually Jim got into a severe car accident. He is at the hospital right now.

Nancy :- w-what!? Dad please take me there..

Dad:- but--

Nancy :- Dad please...

Dad:- okay

...He agreed cause he saw tears in his daughter's eyes.....

...At the hospital~...

...Upon reaching there Nancy saw Jim's mother crying and Jim's father standing near the operation theatre. They all were really worried....

...Nancy went towards Jim's father....

Nancy:- u-uncle what h-happened... ?

Jim's father:- d-dear... H-he... Got into an accident..

Nancy:- h-how!?

Jim's dad:- he was going towards the park after shopping.. Then suddenly this happened..

Nancy :- oh no... (Crying)

...Nancy then went towards Jim's mom and comforted her.....

...After 2 hours the operation was done.....

...The doctor came out from the operation theatre.....

Doctor :- are you the boy's family members...?

Jim's dad:- yes I am his dad.. How is my son??

Doctor :- he is okay now. But in the accident his head was severely injured. And there are chances of him losing his memories. We are not confirmed as soon as he will sake up we will het to know.

Jim's dad:- o-okay..

...After 3 hours Jim gained consciousness.....

...It was already past midnight.....

...Nancy decided to stay in the hospital with Jim's parents....

...At Jim's room.....

Jim's dad:- son are you okay??

Jim:- d-dad.. M-mom... My head hurts a lot..

Jim's mom:- son please rest..

Jim:- hm..

Nancy:- J-Jim.. Are you okay???

Jim:- no I am not okay... And who are you!?

...After hearing what he said Nancy's heart broke into pieces......

Nancy :- w-what!? It's no time to joke.. I'm Nancy your--

Jim's dad:- Nancy please come with me...

Nancy:- y-yes u-uncle...

...He brought her outside.....

Jim's dad:- dear you are like a daughter to me... I next thing is going to hurt you but I cannot do anything..

Nancy :- uncle what are you talking about??

Jim's dad:- actually Jim.. He... He lost his memories...

Nancy:- w-what!?

Jim's dad:- yes... And it seems like he has forgotten about you... Now his condition is really critical.. We can't remind him of anything so.. It will be better if you stay away from him for some time...

Nancy :- w-what!? H-he is my b-best friend.. H-how can he!? N-now how will i s-stay away.. How!?

Jim's dad:- dear you have to keep his condition in mind.. He is in a really critical condition..

Nancy :- o-okay... I'll stay away...

Jim's dad:- thank you dear..

Nancy :- can I see him for the last time..

Jim's dad:- I am not sure...

Nancy:- don't worry I won't go near him..

Jim's dad:- okay...

...Nancy stood near the door. She saw Jim struggling. She wanted to help him so bad. But she has to stay away. Unwantedly their eyes met. Nancy's eyes were full of tears which were threatening to fall anytime. Jim's eyes had some kind of confusion. He was not sure of the surroundings he was in....

...Nancy realised the situation so she ran away from their....

...She called her dad to pick her up....

...He came but his daughter's behavior was quite unusual. She was too quiet....

Dad:- honey is everything good??

...Nancy nodded her head as no....

Dad:- tell me sweetie.. Dad is here..

...Nancy quickly hugged him....

...She started crying hard.....

Dad:- sweetie what happened !? Don't cry!? Tell your dad... Hmm.. Princess.. Please..

Nancy :- d-dad... He promised me... He will always remember me... B-but.. He forgot about me!!

Dad:- what do you mean dear??

Nancy :- h-he lost his memories.. He forgot about m-me...

Dad:- w-what!?

Nancy :- y-yes dad... (Crying more)

Dad:- oh poor child... Don't worry sweetie.. Let's go home.. You need to rest right now..

...He took her with him....

...At home she directly went to her room....

...Her brothers and mother quickly suspected that something was wrong.....

...Her dad explained everything to them....

...They were feeling so sad.....

...Anyhow 2 weeks passed.....

...Nancy tried to contact him but he blocked her thinking that it's spam....

...Nancy cried every night. She prayed for him....

...After 2 weeks he came to school. She expected him to come towards her but he went towards---her bully!?...

Nancy :- what the hell!? He hated her so much but h-he... Lemme ask him!!

...She went towards them....

Nancy :- hey Jim!

Jim :- oh god! What!? You are trying to pester me right!!

Nancy :- w-what!? Nonsense !! Don't you remember me!?

Jim:- I don't want to remember a person like you!!

Nancy :- w-what!?

Jim:- she told me everything about you!! (he said pointing towards Maya, Nancy's bully) How you tried to steal me from her!! She is my baby!! Get that in your head!! I will never love you!! So get lost!!

Nancy :- Jim she is lying!!

Maya:- I told you Jim she is a rude ***!!

Jim:- babe let's go..

Maya:- yeah!

...Nancy understood what had happened. Maya filled in some bad words about her in Jim's mind. Due to his memory loss he believed her....

...9 months passed.....

...Nancy tried so hard to make him believe that maya was lying....

...She tried so hard to make him retrieve his memory. But it was of no use....

...Soon Jim and Maya started bullying Nancy....

...She was so hurt....

...One day~...

...Nancy entered the classroom. She sat at her usual place. But when she tried to get up she failed. Her skirt was stuck to the chair. When she saw closely their was a chewing gum....

Nancy :- oh shit!! Whyyyyy!?

...Soon she heard people laughing.. She understood what was going on....

...She was done. She could not take it anymore....

...She grabbed her skirt and pulled it harshly. It came out but chewing gum was still stuck on it....

She silently moved towards the washroom. She cleaned herself. While she was in the bathroom she quickly texted someone.

Text:- I am ready. I can't take this anymore.

Reply:- okay. Come back home now. Rest leave it to us.

Text:- Okay..

...She quickly went to her class. People were still laughing. Without saying anything she grabbed her bag and left the classroom....

...Jim seemed to have noticed her. He felt something was off. He tried following her but was stopped by Maya....

Maya:- babe stay here. See my new nail polish.

...Suddenly Jim's head started hurting and he fainted. He was taken to the school clinic. His parents were informed of the situation. They understood the situation so they came rushing over. They took him to the hospital....

...After 3 hours he gained consciousness....

...The first word he spoke after gaining consciousness was 'NANCY'....

...His parents were shocked....

Jim's Dad:- s-son... You remember everything !?

Jim:- n-no... B-but... S-she.. I was... I was with her?

Jim's mom:son you were with Maya..

Jim:- but she is her bully right!?

Jim's mom:- you remember it!?

Jim:- y-yes..

Jim's mom:- thank God... You are recovering dear!!

Jim:- can you please call Nancy??

Jim's dad:- sure..

...Jim's dad went out to make a call.. But when he returned his expressions were sad....

Jim:- what happened dad???

Jim's dad:- s-son... Actually... Nancy... She...

Jim:- she what!?

Jim's dad:- she did not agree to come...

Jim:- why??? I-I'll say her sorry for a-all t-the things I have d-done...

Jim's dad:- even if you say sorry she won't come... She is leaving this country...

Jim:- w-what!?

...Jim heart suddenly felt a squeeze....

Jim:- n-no.... S-she can't go... Take me to her please...

...Even though Jim has not fully recovered but he felt like stopping her....

...He never wanted her to leave....

Jim's dad:- son they are already heading towards the airport...

Jim:- Dad please... P-please...

Jim's mom:- honey take him please...

Jim's dad:- okay as you say...

...They started rushing to the airport....

...Jim's pov~...

Jim:- {why am I stopping her!? What's with this feeling !? I have never felt like this before. What's happening !? Whyyy!?}

...They reached the airport....

...Fortunately they came on time. Nancy's family was unloading their luggage from the taxi. Jim approached Nancy....

Jim:-hey where are you going!?

Nancy :- away... Away from you and your life...

Jim:- w-why!?

Nancy :- there's no point of staying here when you have already forgotten about us. I tried really hard. But at last I give up !

Jim:- b-but.. (he tried holding her shoulder but was stopped by Nancy's brothers Shawn and Justin)

Shawn :- back off dude... We know what things you have done to her... It's better if you leave us alone!

Justin :- she tried really hard. But there was no improvement. We cannot do anything. It's her decision to leave you.

Jim:- p-please...

Nancy's dad:- kids it's time....Let's go..

...Jim held Nancy's hand. His pleading eyes and her cold face....

Jim:- please don't go..

Nancy :- I want to forget you! I don't want you! Leave me alone just like you did before!

...She pulled her hands......

Nancy:- let's go!

...With that they left....

...Jim was now a crying mess....

Jim:- I want to remember you! Please don't go!

...But it was too late now......
