I thought the same it was a escape from my mother who wasn't abusing Me physically but mentally but she was doing it subtle and I lost myself I was no longer me she made me so afraid to voice my opinion that I was only myself to a very few people and it would take me a long time to warm up to people in fear of rejection I have gotten better but being abused it stays with you for a lifetime so some traits never leave

what kind of parent treat their own daughter like that they don't even deserve be parents and WTF is with place where they are living where police dosen't have much authority
