The Arranged Marriage

Anastasia's POV:

"OH MY GOSH! OH MY GOSH! I'M GONNA BE LATE ON MY FIRST DAY! "

Last week:

"BZZZ BZZZ BZZZ! "

I wake up due to the excruciating noise of my alarm. I keep pressing the stop button but it won't turn off. I get pissed and fling it across the room, the noise finally stops. I get up get up out of my bed and get ready for school.

I walk downstairs and to my surprise, everybody is sitting there eating food. My father, that doesn't care less about me, as long as I'm able to benefit him when I grow up then he'll keep me around. My step mother, Catherine, and her daughter, Kate. They both treat me like trash when my father isn't around, but when he is I'm always at fault and the cause of all their problems

"Good morning daughter". my dad says. I can hear how fake and disgusted he was when he said that. "Good morning... Mr. Gordon." You can see the shock on everyone's face when I say that to him. I don't feel bad saying it, actually I feel kinda satisfied. When I wanted his affection he didn't give it to me and now even when he's trying to give it to me, I know he's faking because he wants something.

"Now Anastasia, you shouldn't speak to your father that way. Why don't you sit down and have breakfast with us? " Catherine said with her sweetest, fake voice she can come up with. "Nah, I'm good, im gonna grab some toast and head out. " As I walk past them I notice Kate rolling her eyes at me. I fix my toast and walk back past them. Well it doesn't matter if you sit and eat with us because your still getting married to that innocent creature, Christopher Hunterson." Kate says and chuckles when my jaw drops. I take a step back and look at them trying to process what she just said. " w -why?" It was the only thing that could come out my mouth.

"Because it will help us in business and your sister is planning to marry the older brother I'm the Hunterson family, Zander." Catherine spoke and she had an evil, satisfied grin on her face. I just wanted to slap the grin off her face! "CAN YOU BE QUIET I WAS TALKING TO HIM!" I yelled at Catherine while pointing at my father. " DON'T RAISE YOUR VOICE AT YOUR MOM AND SHE'S RIGHT YOU CAN'T CONTROL IT! " He yelled at me. "**** it I don't care and she's not my mom, you abandoned my mom and dragged me away from her. " I say to him and walk out the door with a year in my eye.
