episode one

captured~

She had sex with another man and Benjamin knew,infact he saw them.he came home early that day and stood infront her door in tears as he waited for them to finish.

He passed me on the couch but I didn't get to signal my mom to tell her he was here,he cried at that door then looked at me as I tugged on his shirt with tears in my eyes.

"I'm-i'm  sorry" I cried

"You knew, didn't you"

You began growling, pinning me to the wall and lifting me off the ground, i was gasping for breath, leaving  scratches on your hands as i squirmed and wiggled as i took my last breath,when i was on the point of fainting.tears rolled down my eyes.in an instant you looked in my eyes and i felt the sudden release as i fell to the ground.i immediately got up  with tears in my eyes as i  started hugging you as we sobbed together.

"Why didn't you tell me princess,why didn't you tell me?"

He cried, kneeling down to my height which  is 4'4

I took my little hands and wiped his tears, then he got up and left, looking emotionless and it broke me.

My step dad divorced my mom after that and we  became broke, since she signed a prenup she didnt get a cent out of his pocket and i cant say I'm angry but me and him are  still cool..I think,I wanted to tell him long ago that mom was cheating.

But she's my mom, he's just my step dad. he called me 9 months ago and offered me a job in his bosses company. I dont know what he really does for living  but I know he's always  well paid.

I heard a knock on my bedroom  door and i immediately surfaced from my thoughts, it was my mom,she came in and I was already tucked in bed so she didn't stay long but before she left she said

"Honey,it's hard with just me and you and now that your brother's in the picture"

I give her a worried smile but it only seem to make her look more depressed.

She paused and sighed heavily

"I can't take care of both of you"

" I can take care of myself" I smiled

She slightly pinched my cheek then smiled while taking a seat on my bed beside me

"I know baby, tomorrow's your birthday and I have no money to do anything" she sobbed

I sat up in bed and wiped her tears

Only for her to wipe mines.

"Don't worry honey,it's all gonna be better tomorrow"she sighed before heading to the door again

"How mom,huh?" I whispered, sounding worried

I know that look,that look on her face could only mean one thing.

My eyes widened as i whimpered "no mom,not him!"😢

"I know you don't want to but it's for the best"

I already knew where this was going so I layed back in bed.

"Your dad loves you,he just didn't know it before. but now--"

"Mom stop!" I telled.  cutting her off

"I'm tired, can we talk in the morning?" I replied, lowering my voice

"You don't get it honey" she sighed  before leaving the room

"He's gonna pick you up tomorrow,you're gonna be living with him now"

Were her last words before shutting myt bedroom door.

I can't do this anymore, I know what I need to do.I don't trust my step dad but he's my only option right now.i called him and made my way downstairs but the creeking floor didn't make it easy at all.

I quietly sneaked downstairs but my mom snuck up behind me

"And where are you going this night young lady?" I turned around and saw her angry expression

"I'm j-just going for a light snack" I replied nervously

"Oh,so what exactly are you going for?"

"Oh the usual" I smiled

"Marshmallow" I replied, giving her a smile so big my eyes shrinked as I  tilted my head up a little bit

Just then she handed me a bag full of it.

I sighed

"Good night Jasmin" she said while raising an eyebrow

"Good night mom ❤️" I said, placing a kiss on her cheek before going back to bed

I didn't give up that easily,after half an hour of pacing in my room I finally thought of an escape plan,my step dad rang my phone letting me know he was still outside.i locked  my bedroom door and open the window.

The cold breeze hit my face letting me know it's almost sunrise I looked down and the height scared me but it was the only way down.

I took a deep breath and started making my way off the roof,it got slippery and I started sliding down but I couldn't scream or even hold on to something because my mom's room was too close to mine.

My thigh got grazed and I fell, I'd surely break a bone or two after I land, it was only two story but I am very tiny and fragile even for a teenager.

I just closed my eyes and prepared for impact.....but you caught me, you saved me.

"And where are you sneaking off to young lady!"
