You don't really know how you ended up in the pet local pet shop, having a staring contest with one of the rabbit.

You had been grocery shopping for my grandma other and saw the sigh as I passed by.

You quick walk had slowed to a crawling pace as I passed the front window.

You lived alone in a small apartment that didn't allow dogs or large animals, but my neighbor down the hall had a pet perret.

You had seen it a couple of times, sitting on his shoulder as he went to get his mail.

You're neighbor name was jimin and he adore his white ferret, taehyung. It was cute.

Maybe if you got an animal, you wouldn't depend on your grandmother for friendship anymore. It was sad that you only dedication in life were to school and your completely healthy and active grandmother.

Maybe it was time for a chance. your feet had taken you into the shop without your brain permission, pushing you through the door and setting off the bell that alerted the staff to customers.

Bird squaked loudly upon your entrance, but you had grimaced and steered away from those cages. If you were getting a pet, you would wanted one that you could cuddle and hold.

you followed the signs to the back of the store, where a section labeled small animals displayed various cages and enclosure.

Passing up the rat cages with a shudder, you continued in to the next enclosure, where three medium sized puffballs were piled up together.

One of the puffballs moved, reveling a cute whiskered face and tiny nose. The chinchilla wiggled it's nose a bit before diving back into the cuddle session with the other ones.

" Awww " you whispered to yourself. Then you looked at the price and blanched.

No chinchilla for you.

You moved on to see the ferret, but as you did, you accidentally bumped into someone's shoulder

" Sorry " you apologized.

" y/n " At the male voice speaking your name, you glanced up in surprise

It was my neighbor, jimin his trusty sidekick taehyung hanging lazily on his shoulder.

" Its is Kim y/n right" jimin asked with a friend smile on his face as he brushed his orange hair out of his eyes. Taehyung sniffed the air with his little pick nose before rolling to wrap cutely around jimins neck.

" Yeah, it's me ". "hi jimin. You mumbled shyly, blushing.

He was a handsome guy with full lips and a sharp jawline tapped by cute eyes that disappeared when he smiled. On top of all of that, jimin had a super sweet and kind personality.

He attended the same college as you and you had heard a lot about him from some of your friends, through you had never really introduced with Jim yourself.

" Are you here to buy a pet " jimim asked curiously glancing at your empty hands as you stood in front of the ferret cage.

You quickly tucked your hands behind your back. " um..... maybe". " I'm not sure yet"

Smiling that cute eye smile, jimin had the pearly far of his own pet and laugher "you're pet and taehyung could have never play dates"

" Oh " you said with smile, glancing at the hyper ferret who was how attempting to climbed onto his owners head.

" is he lonely "

Jimin smile faded a little as he gently pulled the ferret out his orange hair and held him tenderly in his arm.

" I think he is that's why I'm here to get another one." He pointed to the enclosure in front of you where several dark ferret jumped around happily.

You noticed that none of them came even close to matching taehyung fur color .

" Why aren't any of them white " you asked your neighbor as the two of you leaned over the ferret cage. Taehyung along to his owners shoulder and curiously observed the others from his perch.

"Taehyung albino" jimin said. "these are different kind of ferret." " tae tae special " He cooed the end sweetly as he chuckled a finger under his pets chin.

The ferret wiggled happily and cuddled into jimin.

" Are you getting a ferret ?" jimin had asked you. he reached in and held his hands out to the ferret, keeping it there as one by one they inspected hire in the end, only one of the small was left.

The orange hair boy laughed and picked up the ferret, bringing him face to face with taehyung for inspection. Taehyung sniffed reluctantly allowing jimin to place the second animal on his shoulder beside the albino. only minutes later the two were cuddling together, accessible biting playfully at each other as they laid there.

"Well I guess that's settled " jimin chuckled

" Tae has chosen "

" They look a little too.... hyper for me " you said reluctantly

" They are that "jimin had agreed with a sigh " what about a rabbit? I've heard they're pretty chill"

The two of you wandered toward the rabbit cage.

"What are you going to name that one "you asked pointing at the darker ferret.

"Hoseok" jimin replied instantly. then he gave you a sheepish smile, mumbling "he seems like a hoseok"

You reached the rabbit enclosure and you peered into it, watching several different colored fuffy bunnies hop around. a few came up to the edge and looked at you, then hopped away.

" They're really cute" you had admitted

A black one with huge black eyes and tal ears had bounce up at you, not blinking as it stared you down.

And that leaves you here and now going on a good two minutes of unblinking staring back at a stubborn black rabbit with your neighbor beside you holding onto his two ferret.

"Um that's kind of weird " jimin comment. " that rabbit like, isn't even blinking. is that normal"

You shrug reluctantly removing your gaze from the bunny's arresting black eyes. it props it's little front paws up onto the partition between the enclosure and the outside world still staring you down.

" I think it likes you "jimin laughs

He leans over and picks up the black fuzz ball cupping it in his hands. the second that jimin touches it the rabbit goes crazy. it kicks its little legs and squirms every which way trying to escape jimins grasp.

" Whoa" your neighbor grasp quickly passing the rabbit to you.

The black thing calms down in your arms cuddling into you and sending jimin what you can only describe as a bunny glare.

" Its got a lot of personality that's for sure " jimin laughs "do you want it "

"Yes" the word leaves your mouth before you can even register what you said and then jimin steering you to the front.

" Awesome " He cheers. "come on they can tell you everything you need for it up at the front. we can have pray dates now!"

You look down at the rabbit in your arms still a little weirded out as it continues to stare you down with the intelligent black eyes
