'I've been running for days now, but it seems pointless' , then suddenly i....

*GASP*

"That was one scary nightmare." I say drenched in sweat. That figure last night really messed with my head. I head to the kitchen to grab a glass of water where i see my mother getting ready to go to work.

"You better hurry, or you're gonna be late for school."

I nod in agreement, having no power to actually speak. Getting out of the house, i see an unfamiliar car parked not far from it. I shrug it off as just paranoia.

"Good morning, guys. Have you all seen Armi she doesnt seem to be around. "

"Didn't you hear?"

"Hear what?"

"They moved away since their house was broken into last night,"

Frozen in shock, i don't know what to say, and quickly grab my phone to text her.

OMG, are you and your family okay

Yea, I'm a bit scared but okay overall. I'm sorry, but i also had to change schools since i moved away. Take care.

And like that, my friend was gone. It's time to start socializing with other people. Well, that will happen either way since im going off to university soon. I gotta warm up my friend making skills.

I think to myself while staring out the window, but i just can't shake off this unsettling feeling as if something is about to go wrong at any minute. *shrugs*

I'm sure im being followed. BuT HoW dO yOu kNoW??Well I've seen this group of guys walking scattered around me. Two of them even made eye contact with me, the ones on my right and my left. i haven't got the slightest idea what the one behind me looks like.

Well, I've had enough. I wanna go home without these creeps knowing where i live.

Picking up my pace, i spot a tall guy who looks decently strong and cheerfully head towards him. I'm hoping he has a good soul, i hug him and act as if i know him.

"Please play along," i whisper while looking at the three men, finally seeing what the other one looked like.

it seemed like i didn't even have to ask him since he hugged me so warmly that i even doubted myself if i actually knew this guy.

"Thank you soooo much," sighing in relief, seeing the 3 men turn around and not daring to get closer.

"You're welcome," he says, laying out his hand, "Jack, nice to meet you."

"Ada, likewise, thanks again, but i got to go," giving him a handshake and leaving.

His POV

"Well, the plan worked out perfectly." I think as I watch her going in a different direction than her home.

Looking down at his hand, he smiles.
