Noah's POV: I sensed someone was there. Someone was creeping there. Trying carefully to be hidden.

But who is he kidding? I'm Noah Vincent Mangano.

I shot the person peeking, not aiming at him but just to scare him.

Liam cursed, dragging a small figure.

I finished the man on the floor by shooting him between his eyes.

Liam carried the female to the van while I followed, admiring her beauty.

Liam POV: I noticed that Noah was staring at that female for a while now.

It's been 2 hours, she was supposed to wake up but I guess her body is weak that's why he body couldn't take the impact.

I dragged Noah out of the room.

For a moment, something crossed my mind . . . I could see hurt in his eyes, concern maybe.

He was always cold, his eyes didn't show anything.

But I saw concern, warmth for a second.

He always built walls around him, not opening to anyone.

"Why are you staring at her like that?"

"Why are you asking?"

"Oh, c'mon I'm your friend"

"Mind your fucking business"

He turned to leave, this sentence made him stop in his track.

"Did you fall for her?"

"W-what, are you out of your mind?"

"Is it forbidden for you to like someone?"

"Can't you keep her alive?"

"Didn't you say there was no one"

"I was sure there was no one. What are you gonna do with her"

"I don't know"

"You're the boss"

"That doesn't mean I do everything" Noah

"We'll just figure it out"

I didn't want Noah to kill her to be honest, not that I felt sorry for her or anything.

I kill everyday many people without regret.

It's just that maybe she can change him, she can make him turn into a better person.

It was a scarlet minute that can't be reversed.
