Chapter 2

Eve of engagement day.

Family members running around trying to find out any mistakes. Saiyu was helping her mom in the kitchen.

"Get those biscuits . I'll hold the tea" Yuki

Saiyu nodded.

"I still can't believe it's tomorrow" Saiyu murmured.

"It's nerve-racking isn't it? you know what When your father propose to me for the first time I fainted. *Giggles* He panicked like anything" Yuki

"I am envious of your guys.. you get to go on dates and boom you got married and you guys have us... " Saiyu looked at her mother as she walks.

" We are sorry dear we had to let you do this... But look on the bright side you might fall in love with your husband. " Yuki looked at Saiyu. Saiyu gave her mom *give me a break* look.

" Sure why not! it's better to stay optimistic " *Flashed a smile* Saiyu

Both placed the snacks and their tea on the table. Saiyu called out her busy brothers for some tea. Four of them settled down and enjoy their evening snack until —

*Doorbell*

Yuki " who might that be? It's too early for your dad to comeback home. " Yuki stood up .

Saiyu " mom just finish your tea.. i'll go an get it."

Saiyu rushed towards the door. *Opens*

A guy wearing a bad hoody , dark hair, 6ft tall and his face was covered with a mask . Saiyu can't examine his features beneath that mask . So she made up her mind that this stranger is handsome .

"Umm.... How can I help you sir? " Saiyu asked

"I am searching for Tadashi Saiyu . Can i see her?? it's urgent" the stranger

"That me . Who might you be? How can I help you? " Saiyu

"Oh sorry for my late introduction. My name is Nakamura Kiite . Your fiance" Kiite extended his hand for a handshake.

Saiyu eyes widen. *wait what ???? This guy my fiance ~whistle~ ah a business person. No wonder he wants a handshake with his Fiance *( comes back to her sense. )

"wait you can't be here. What if my brothers sees you? Not that they are going do anything but you can't be seen now" *Almost Whispers* Saiyu.

"Mom I am going out for a bit . A friend came ". Saiyu shouted.

Saiyu closed the door behind her. Kiite and Saiyu went out to a near by cafe. Kiite took off his mask and is breathing heavily.

Saiyu stares at the guy before her. *look at those eyes damn .. I would ship him with that handsome waiter over there*

Saiyu lends him a glass of water . Kiite took it and thanked her.

"So... You want to see me in a hurry?? Because_ " Saiyu .

"Oh yeah! I know it's very sudden and inappropriate but I had to let you know this . so here I goes. ( breaths in) I have a girlfriend. (breaths out) I Just want to let you know before this engagement . I want you to make sure you know what you got yourself into " Kiite wiped his mouth with a tissue.

Saiyu's thoughts *he's pretty straight forward.. he Have a GIRLFRIEND . WOW!! interesting turn of events. So I think this is going to be that kind of plots where his girlfriend bullies the poor me.*

" Don't you think it's too late for that? Besides why didn't you come and see me two weeks before" Saiyu

"I didn't think you did agree to this engagement. " Kiite softly l

"I agreed because my dad needs my help. And you agreed because~" Saiyu asked him

"It's kind complicated. I can't go against by dad . " Kiite lower down his head .

Saiyu sense that she needs to change the subject or else the guy before him might cry. ( That's what she thought)

"So does your girlfriend know about this? " Saiyu

Kitte nodded . * Took a deep breath* kitte looks up to her .

"Tadashi San I am so sorry to ask you this but can you do me a favor. Although I know it's very strange of me to ask this we just met and all. 1 year of marriage and then we divorce? " Kiite looks helpless.

*I didn't expect this . We are not even married and he"s asking for a divorce . okayy So he is trying to say that we pretend to be a couple for a year and then divorce. So that he can be with his girlfriend. Well given the circumstances I think its okay. I got nothing to lose anyway. But~* Saiyu's thought.

" Hmm.... So umm.. are you still going to see your girlfriend during this time period aswell? " Saiyu questioned

Kiite " sure I mean she's my girlfriend . I can't ignore her"

*EXCELLENT!!* Saiyu flashed a smile.

" DEAL we get divorce after a year" Saiyu .

Kiite smiled at her. " Thank you so much I don't know how much this means to us"

"Oh no!! Thank you!!! You don't even know what kind of creature I am" Saiyu jokes

"What?" Kiite not getting her joke .

"I'm joking" Saiyu laughs

They chatted for sometime while having some tea in the cafe. After that both went their separate ways.

Saiyu opens the door . She greeted her mom and her brothers and went straight to her room . She lays on her bed.

*Ding*

Saiyu took out her phone .

Thank you again .

Saiyu " where did he get my number? " Murmured

"Well I don't need to care about that . Let's do some work" she stood up and walked towards her laptop.

Saiyu busy with her work .

*Knock*

" Come in " Saiyu not bothered to look who it was

"Damn girl why are you so busy? "

*Surprised*Saiyu turned suddenly. She jumps to the person and hugged tightly.

"Miss me ?"

" Why didn't you tell me you are coming mother fudger? I miss you so muchhhh... You know I got engaged an all.... Tina I miss you so muchhhh" Saiyu hugged tightly.

"Tell me everything I want to know. I got your engagement news from my parents and all. I am not happy with you tho. Because as my best friend you should tell me not my parents. Do you know I had to book 3 flights just to knock you down? " Tina folded her arms.

*Nervous smile* " well I wanted to tell you but I was kinda busy and I forgot" Saiyu

Tina narrowed her eyes in disbelief. " You busy? You are the only person who have the least work in your dad's company . Busy??? Really ?? Playing something? Reading more comics ... Cosplaying"

Saiyu " manga not comic" murmurs

"SHUT UP!! I am not finish" Tina

Saiyu got lectured by her best friend for an hour.

"So what is the groom's name? " Tina finally calm down.

"Nakamura kitu ? Kite ?kin ? Something like kitty? I don't know!!!He did tell me his name properly but I never paid attention anyway. He came few hours ago to meet me and left. And no one knows he came so you better shuzzz " Saiyu

"Are you even interested in this marriage? You don't even know his name properly!! *Sits down in Saiyu's bed* And he came to meet you because?" Tina asked.

"Well it's gonna be a long story. Wait let me Just finish calculating this and I will tell you." Saiyu.

Saiyu finished her work. She sat down next to her best friend and start narrating every single details . Tina even hit Saiyu in between her story.

Tina " WHATTTT?? WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? MARRIAGE IS NOT SOME FUN GAME "

Saiyu * shussss shusszzzz*

" And DIVORCE AFTER A YEAR??? ARE YOU INSANE?? " Tina brust

" Shuzzzzz!!!! They will hear you!!! " Saiyu

Tina " how ...I... I am speechless ..I need to lie down !!! You are definitely an idiot" *lies down *

Saiyu " well .. he did say he have a girlfriend . And I am not interested in him. But he's handsome I give you that. I don't think things will work out between him and me aswell. And I don't want to be that kind of person who stands in between them to break their relationship. I want to be a protagonist in my own story not some evil side chick" .

*Hits by a pillow*

Tina " stop speaking if you want me to spare your life"

Saiyu zipped her mouth.
