CHAPTER 1:Paradise

A place where all the people are living happily,luxuriously and full.Thats what Leo callls heaven,he never got to eat a real meal unless he steals or begs,but people never did give in easily...

"U-uhm,sir can you please give me atleast a slice of bread?" Leo tried begging to a fat and luxurius looking noble.

"huh?,a peice of bread?!.HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" He laughed loudy then took money from his pockets.

"here,you should be greatfull that im in a good mood little guy,or else your filthy mutt might just lay there forever" he warned me while tossing the money at the floor.

"t-thank you sir" i thanked him then ran away,too scared to die.

I never did like begging and stealing...But i gotta do it...For survival.

You must be asking,why dont you get a job?.The answers i cant..Nobles or even commoners dont accept us beggars because of our manners and blood.They always look at us like were freaks in the city and made fun of us,but for us...We just gotta suck it up i guess..Allot of beggars became criminals and thats one of the biggest reason why they hate us.

-5 days later after leo begged the noble for food-

I woke up like normal,changed my clothes and measured the water that im gonna use for brushing my teeth.

I usually just straight up go outside and not brush my teeth but todays a special day..Its the day where the royal family comes and greet us while giving us food,money,clothes and things we need to survive mainly.But the reality is just they want to look good in their peoples eyes.

"Hey leo!,what do you think the king will give us?!" My friend Reiniel asked with excitedness.Well i cant really blame him since getting free food and things are rare here.Its like free gold.

" i dont know really..But i hope is good" i mumbled while looking away at him.

"right?!" He exclaimed excitedly.

Well you see..Im socially awkward,its even a suprise that i have friends at all since im dumb,dense and awkward.

"Good morning my lovely people!.I king Neil shall give you my blessing and gifts" The king smile while he ordered his guards to give his (pity) gifts.

When i received my 'gift' i heard the guard scoff at me.

'probably laughing at how pathetic i look right now' i thought with a glare inside.

"Thank you your majesty!"

"All hail king NEIL!!"

People around me praised him with tears while i just scowled with irritation..

'tch!,just because that pompus king brought us free things doesnt mean we should get any lower than this!' i hid my thoughts while clenching my fists as i walk away from the crowd.

-King Neils POV-

"look my son!,look at those lowly creature thanking me!" I told my son the crown prince while laughing at the ants.

"yes father,you really are indeed the greatest" i heard an emotionless response yet again.

"tch!" i sat down while i frown.

"Sire,Lord Venchkins asked for your attendance" Our butler Muir bowed while he explained the reason why.

''No way!,that jerk Venchkins lost me hundreds, no millions just because he cant do a stupid job!" I replied with frustration.

"Please ather,hear him out first.He might say soemthing useful this time" My son told me with his emotionless face again.

"sigh...Do what the prince said" I told my butler as he left with another bow.
