Lisette tells Santa that she is the mother of an 18-year-old man she had with Humberto. Santa does not want to hear any more, but prefers to leave the scene. Barbara comes to Paula looking for the house of Garcia, but to muddle the tracks, she claims to know no family of that name. Santa interrupts Paula in all her states and tells her that Humberto has a child with another woman.
Santiago who was waiting for him was shocked to learn the news. Santa realizes that Humberto will go "to her home" to be able to explain herself, but the place she presented as her home is in fact the home of one of her rich clients. She calls him to let him know she's not home, that it's best if she doesn't bother the staff and that she'll contact him the next day.
Lisette goes to Victoria with her son Ivan to rent two rooms. Santiago asks Santa not to marry Humberto and asks her why. Paula loses her job at the shop, but Santa informs her that Humberto's law firm is looking for a new secretary. She proposes that her sister-in-law apply for the position.
Humberto wants Santa to sign a prenup. Santiago follows Santa to the wedding dress shop and informs him that Humberto is the kind of man she should be wary of, because he has no heart. He also promises him never to abandon him, to be there for her always.
George threatens Humberto with everything he knows about Willy Delgado's death. Arturo admits to Mara that he wants a child, but that he needs the child to be white so he can't fight his mother. Francisca presses Humberto to get Amanda to sign a prenup. Santa remembers what her family had to agree to two years earlier to pay the lawyer who was supposed to try to prove Willy's innocence.
She also remembers how Francisca persuaded Humberto to use her relationships to sponsor Willy's murder in prison. Paula informs Santa that it is time to send anonymous messages to the Cano family. Carlos receives a new delivery of girls that he takes to the "Trebol de Gold" brothel where they will stay until they are sold. Humberto surprises Paula by searching his confidential documents, which is very unpleasant to him. He confessed to Amanda not trusting him, but the latter convinced him to give the young woman a second chance.
Pancho asks Carlos to let him investigate to discover the identity of the man responsible for the human trafficking network, but Carlos commits himself to doing so. Santa leaves an envelope in Barbara's room and at this precise moment, she is surprised by the unexpected arrival of Begonia.
Santiago informs Humberto that he plans to work in the café of which he is one of the investors and during his visit, he falls on Paula. He also meets Inès, the daughter of Vincent, who has the heart to him. Barbara finds the anonymous letter left by Santa in her room, making her hysterical. She hands it over to Francisca. Francisca suggests that George may be the author.
Hortensia has a conversation with Lisette during which she informs her of the inheritance destined for the first of her grandchildren and which Arturo will be able to benefit from once he is married. Santa asks Humberto about Willy Delgado. She heard Barbara's name, which she received an anonymous letter in which she mentioned. Francisca asks her son Humberto if he is sure Willy st is really dead.
Barbara informs George of the anonymous letter she received, to which he replies that the truth always ends up being revealed. Santa is obliged to sign the prenuptial contract. Gaspar is the victim of a new heart attack and is being rushed to hospital. Daniela wants to know what Humberto is going to do about marriage.
Barbara is back at Paula looking for the Delgado family. When they see it, Santa and Begeonia decide to hide so they can't be seen. Pancho informs Lucy of the existing human trafficking network in Marrero. Santiago meets Lisette and Santa informs her that she is the mother of Humberto's son. Inès sees Santiago and Santa arrive together at the hospital.
