My dreadful Past

Today (March 22, 2020) was probably another dreadful day. The sky of Zhouzhuang is beautiful as always.

I woke up and counted my cheerful past. That one day changed my life upside down.

"Huo, come down. Breakfast is ready" a sound came from the kitchen. Lin is my best friend who stood up and still standing up for me.

My name (Huo) means fire. I thought that my mom had chosen me a suitable name because I was fierce as fire. But now…

Suddenly, Someone slammed the door. It was Lin. She said that "Huo, stop crying. Please allow me to be a real friend. Why are you always bottling up your feeling? If you need to let your tears out, count on my shoulders"

"Ok, let's go and fill our tummy" I replied with fake excitement.

"She is the best cook," I said to myself while eating my favorite tofu and dumplings made by her

"Lin, bye. I should head on to work" I said and rushed to the main road. I stood near the tree to cross the road. I heard someone calling my name. I turned and didn't expect to see him. He wasn't the cruel enemy of my life but a gentle and caring soul. He asked me to accompany him for a cup of coffee. I couldn't deny him. At the coffee shop, I gave him a gentle smile. Even though I am hurt, that smile I gave him was truly from my heart. I couldn't close my heart from him so I again escaped from him without a word. Now, I am at the office, working but subconsciously thinking about him, yi and my dreadful past.

In the past, I was a rebellious girl. I fought like men and also picked many fights and even went to police stations. I started a small company and with legal and illegal ways, I have developed that company. I knew in whatever ways, I couldn't compete with top companies. I planned to acquire shareholders of 2nd topmost company, "W". Also the topmost company is Yukon. I am not much worth than the owner as well as CEO of W. so I waited for the economic fall down for him.

"I should watch tv now," I said to myself. That day was Feb 10th, 2017. And here comes the expected day. "Zen, owner of the company "W" lost many of his shareholders and money. He would go bankrupt within a few days but he didn't accept it till now. Today he even arranged board meeting. We all expect for his next move," the news headlines announced.

I readied and went into the company and opened the door of the meeting room. As expected, zen stopped me from entering. I dodged and seated. Board meeting started and that is for choosing the new CEO. I with most shares of the company was chosen on that day. I successfully investigated him and found many of his holes. With that, I sent him to prison. Now I regret what I have done. That was all my mistake. After I got rid of zen, I wanted to make the "W" top 1st company. So I introduced many additional departments and recruited the best members after many difficult examinations.

Successfully after about one year, I got to meet the CEO of Yukon, "Yi". Our meeting was scheduled at Rian Bar. I rushed to room no. 407. I got some ill feelings about this meeting so I informed my bodyguards to show up if I didn't come by 30 mins. I opened the door and found Zen instead of Yi. A person banged on my head. I lost some conscious but I fought a little and waited for the bodyguard to show up. As expected, they have shown up but They had shaken their hand with zen. I was worried and very angry with myself for not checking on them. Again I was attacked and my mind blacked out. when I opened my eyes, I was tied in bed. someone opened the door. I thought, "It was indeed Zen" but I couldn't see anything clearly. Maybe That was my dreadful day...
