Chapter 01 - Weird

Hyalene's Pov;

Shit, shit, shit. Am I going to die right now? I asked my self as i looked at the scenery outside the car as it becomes blurry and blurry because the car that I'm riding, starts to gain more and more speed.

I looked at the girl who drives the car and it made me think if she's a double psychopath and sociopath that is on the loose.

I scanned her again and for pete's sake! She didn't even fasten her seatbelt even if she's driving at this speed.

Oh Mary mother of God, I'm still too young to die. I still have to achieve my dreams for my parents.

"KYAHHHHH" I screamed when our car did a 360° drift and stopped.

"Fudge!" the girl whispered when we nearly got crashed into another man's car that kept on over speeding other driver's car on the opposite side of the road.

" Hey! do you wanna die, huh? You nearly crashed into my car. Do you know how much this car cost?" The man angrily asked us while knocking at the window of the car.

The audacity of him. He's the one that is in the fault and now he is placing the blame on us?!. What the HECK is wrong with him?!

" Open this damn door right now so I can give you a little freaking lesson." He ordered the girl and she just looked at him and rolled her eyes before opening the door.

I studied the man's physical attributes because he seems a little familiar.

I scanned his face and his body then it hits me, an eagle tattoo with a helmet.

OMFG!, he's the leader of the gang called Eagle Riders. They are very notorious and have been in and out of prison for a couple of times.

I can't get involved in this! I already promised Mama and Papa that I'll stop causing trouble!.

*Boogshhh*

Oh shit, I was shocked when I heard a crashing sound, and I saw the girl forcibly opened the car's door and it hit the man in the stomach which caused him to stumble backwards.

Man, this girl radiates trouble and I don't ever, EVER, wants to be in trouble.

"Oww, you little piece of shi—oww, ouch!" He angrily said but the girl quickly started the car and drove away from him, leaving him wrecked with dust and dry leaves.

"Hey! Are you okay? You've been sweating buckets since we left that guy." The girl asked me and I quickly wiped the sweat in my whole face.

"Y-yeah, umm... do you know who that guy is?" I asked her and she frowned for a moment.

"Nah, I don't care. Why?" She replied. What?! How can she not know him. This girl is surely in a hot tub, some says that the Eagle Riders are known for their tracking skills.

After some time, we slowed down and went inside a big golden gate and it has a sign that reads Casa de Royale.

Wait, Casa de Royale? The biggest house in Manhattan?

Am I dreaming? or I'm just hallucinating, there's no way that this girl is from Casa de Royale.

After slowing down, she parked the car in a garage and went out.

I gathered all my courage and speak up to her because you know, I'm kinda afraid of her now.

"T-thanks for the r-ride Miss?" I said to her... Oh yeah, I still don't know her name because she just asked me to come with her, right?

" Pastel." She replied and I just nodded at her. That's all? Well, that is much better than not knowing her name at all.

I was about to ask her again about her mask but I think it's best to just let it be. Because, who am I to her in the first place.

" What about you? What's your name?" She asked me back so I composed my self and cleared my throat then I introduced my self to her.

After I introduced myself to her, she asked me to follow her inside their house so I just followed her.

I was shocked when she suddenly told me to duck, cover my ears and close my eyes right after she opened the front door.

"Shit!" I whispered when I saw six throwing knives flew just right above my head when I took a peek of what's going on.

I saw Pastel fighting six persons in a black hoodie and mask that covers their face.

Are they assassins or something?! How can they move so fast. I saw Pastel run towards the stairs and returned to my side with some daggers in her hands and threw it on the men in black.

I was surprised when they all got hit and I guess they are all men because of their voice when they cussed when the daggers got them.

"Brisk avenge us!" they all shouted. Who's Brisk?! Don't tell me they have a hidden member here?!

Pastel was looking around for this Brisk guy when suddenly, a bucketful of flour covered Pastel and me.

"Whoo, good job Brisk!" All the men shouted and I took a peek of who is this Brisk guy.

My eyes widened when I saw a seven year-old boy sitting on the center table with a bucket in his hands.

I took a look at Pastel and she looked so pissed because there are lots and lots of flour that's covering her from head to toe.

"ARGHHH, Zedes Brisk!!" She suddenly shouted and the seven year-old boy quickly ran towards her.

He looks a little terrified. Wait a minute, how does she know him if they are assassins and why is this Brisk guy a freaking kid?!

"Tell me, who the HECK planned this whole scheme." She ordered him and without any hesitation, the little boy threw the bucket that he was holding to the man who's hair is color black.

"W-why are you l-looking at me? It's Subaro's plan." He defended himself and pointed his finger at the other man who has a black hair.

"Woah, woah. Why me?! I just did what Krone asked us to do"the other one said and pointed the one with the ash head.

Are they imitating the color of the rainbow or something? The first one has a red hair, then a blue haired guy, a black haired guy, an ash head, a copper head, a green haired guy, a platinum haired guy and the kid is blonde.

"And why the FUDGE are you placing the blame on m—ACHOOO" The ash head was about to complain when I suddenly sneezed loudly.

Shit, what a terrific luck you have Hyalene. So terrific. You just got here in Manhattan and yet you encountered many so many dangerous people within one day.

"Who is she?" The green haired guy asked while pointing his knife at me.

"Hey! That's so informal and she's with me. So put down your knives and welcome he—HEY! OPEN THIS GODDAMN GATE RIGHTNOW!" She was about say that they should welcome me but Pastel was interrupted by some men outside their gate.

Oh fudge! The Eagle Riders are here! Am I gonna die right now?

"Now what?!" Pastel shouted while looking so pissed.

"Oh my, our dragon sister's angry. Run for your lives HAHAHA" The copper head guys said while laughing.

How can they be laughing at this time when there's an angry gang outside their gate?

And they're Pastel's brother? Is that the reason why she's so scary?

They are so careless, clueless and very, VERY, weird.
