CHAPTER 1

TYRON was busy reading the report for the expansion of the Zapanta Hotel in New Zealand when his secretary entered his office. He did not look up even though he knew it was in front of him

"Yes?" He said without looking up.

"Sir, Mrs. Zapanta is in line four. She was persistent to talk to you."

He heave a deep sighed and then he grab the cord of the telephone.

"Thanks, Lara." He said to his secretary before he answered the call.

He waited for his secretary to leave before answering the call.

"Good morning, mom." The voice he greeted here was lively.

"Good morning to you too, son." The mother's voice was streaked with a smile. "Anyway, I was called because I want to ask you what date you will come home to Panggasinan for Christmas and New Year?"

He let out a deep breath. "Mommy, I'm busy. I can't go home, I'm busy here in the office." .

Ever since his father retired, he has managed all their businesses. At the age of twenty-three, the responsibility of managing their company rested on his shoulders. His sister Kreiya did not want to help him. And then she and her husband Sky were on their honeymoon in Europe.

The mother on the other line was speechless then it spoke, no emotion in its voice. "Okay. Have a happy holiday." After saying 'non it turned off the call.

His sintedo hurt. Her mommy looks upset because she’s not going to the reunion. He wanted to but he had already promised Careen.

"Hey, oh." He leaned back against the back of the swivel chair and closed his eyes. "I hope Mommy's contribution disappears soon." I hope.

He was restless so he called her mommy using his cell phone.

"Mom?" .He said when his mother answered his call

"Yes?" she said her voice has no emotion.

"I just want to explain why I can't go home—"

"No need." Her voice was still emotionless, obviously angry at him. "And if you call to find out if I'm sulking, yes, I'm sulking because you prefer that woman over your family—"

"Mom, that woman has a name and her name is Careen."

"I don't care. I still don't like her. I don't even know why you like her. She looks like a trump! If you don't want me to sulk, go home, because if you don't, I won't fool you until I die! "

he stared at the cell phone screen as the mother disappeared on the other line. It looks really angry and sullen.

He was restless because his mother was upset with him so he called Careen.

"She wants me to be with them this Christmas and New Year."

Silence reigned on the other line, a few seconds passed before it spoke.

"How do we plan for the Holiday? Don't tell me you're going to trade me for that reunion? That mom of yours is always a villain!"

"Then go to your home ! Take care of your life!" It shouted and turned off the call. “Oh, by the way, let’s break up! go with that villain! ”

Shaken he laid the cell phone on the table and sighed. Careen's behavior is not really good, especially when she doesn't follow her wishes. And it always ‘breaks’ its mouth when it doesn’t follow its wishes. She has become accustomed to this habit since they have been lovers for three years. It was not new to him to shout it and separate it from him.

Careen has been his girlfriend for three years and she’s a Psychologist, but sometimes, she doesn’t act like a psychologist, she act like an unprofessional person who doesn’t understand people.

But her anger can’t change his decision. He has to go home if her mommy isn't really upset. Then he will fix whatever problem he and his girlfriend have.
