"Ahh, I had so much fun today! The sea was nice, so was the indoor pool! The rollercoaster and all! I want to go there again." I could see her pouting face even though I'm riding the bike all the way home with her.

"That's fine and all, but hold on tight because it's dangerous" I scolded her.

"Yeah yeah whatever you say." i heard her yawn as she spoke. She must be so tired, aishh, what to do with this girl.

"Are you sleepy Shin-" I was startled as she suddenly hugged me from my back.

My face blushed up and I felt warmer because of her hug. I could also hear her fast heart beats.

Healthy person's lifespan, lifespan wont decrease even when they do vigorous exercises or movements.

Even though we do daily movement everyday, but it's just a short period. To make up for it, we breathe more slowly during our sleep to balance it out. (fact)"

But it's different in her case...

Once her pulse goes up, It's hard to bring it down. For her, moving around so much while playing freely, It's at the cost of her own life.

"Oh yeah.."

"What's it Haru?"

"We've been fooling around and enjoying ourselves everyday, don't your parents say anything aout it?" I asked

"Ahh...that's fine." She responded. "I explained to them the situation and they understood. They told me to do as I please and right now, I'm really happy..." She stopped for a while until she said, "Though i feel a bit sad."

"Ohh, I see.."

"Haru..don't say it" She said with a downhearted voice.

My eyebrows furrowed with confusion. "What do yo-"

"Don't say anything more.....please.."

Am I an idiot? Tch...i should've known better.

We were engulfed by silence for a while until she decided to break it.

"Am i...... misunderstanding something Haru?"

I nodded. "Tomorrow there'll be a huge fireworks display in the Perfecture D (just meant a place btw). You're coming right?"

I expected her to repond excitedly but she remained silent.

"Hmm? Ohh..don't tell me you're not coming now? Are you?" I glanced at her back. "You're too naive Shinoa, summer has just began."

She smiled."Yeah...I'll come!"

"That's what i am talking about!"

"Thank you....Haru..."

Tomorrow came so quickly and I was so excited to see Shinoa again. I immediately did all the household chores my mom asked me to do with a smile the whole day. She thought I'm sick or something but nah, I'm just happy. (my mom's reaction when I'm happy TvT)

Finally afternoon came, we decided to meet up at the park nearby the neighbouring town. I arrived there early as I expected, am really that excited? Hell yeah!

"Haru!"

I quickly glanced up when I heard that voice, my eyes sparkled when I saw Shinoa waving at me. I waved back and smiled at her.

"Shinoa!"

Have you been waiting?" She asked me while we're walking our way to the firework display.

"Nah, I just arrived too." I lied. I didn't want her to assume that I was so excited to see her, which is true..(Classic scene in Anime)

I noticed that she's wearing a hairpin that looks like a pick (Guitar tool).

"Shinoa, that's a pick right? Wait, Don't tell me you play a guitar!?"

"Well...just a little. When i was young, I dreamt of becoming an music artist. This is the first pick I bought. I used to compose songs, write poems, practise singing and all...but that was just past, I've given up now.."

"Ehhh?! Why?? It's such a waste, you were even at the stage of composing your own songs!!"

"Yeah....but.." She scratched her head.

"I want to watch you sing!"

"No. She disapproved even before i completed it fully. "It's not something that others should watch too! That's the only thing I won't do!"

"Ehh!?" I pouted. "Think about it Shinoa, ain't this once in a lifetime chance? Aren't you excited? I understand that you feel shy and all, but you know, playing the songs you've composed for others is also a part of youth!'

"Well...since you've said this much.. I-i'm only doing this once, okay!? Don't laugh okay?"

"I won't I won't" I replied as I was very eager to see her performance!"

And as i listened, it was beautiful. The consistency, Tone, Pitch, like an angels voice. And I thought she would be a star on a live performance.

I was taken aback of her melodious singing that I persuaded her to join the [Light Music Club].

"uhhmm...Haru?"

"Shinoa, meet my co-members of our Light Music club!!" I pointed at each who were looking at me with confusion and started introducing her.

"This is the bassist, Uzumaki" (Naruto reference)

"This is the boardist, Okabe. By the way, he's my childhood friend too."(you won't get the reference XD)

"And this is Mikey, our drummer!"

"Our Light Music Club isn't that famous and the only people in the club are us four including myself"

I turned to her and pouted, "Please! I beg you Shinoa! Please sing one more time in front of them!!"

It took her awhile to understand. "Wait. What?!! No. Never. I don't like where this is going!"

"You'll know once you sing, Shinoa! You guys will understand too once you start hear her singing! Okay?! So, Please!"

I plead her..

"Ahh geez...there's no other choice i guess...fine i'll do it.." She sighed.

After her performance, she asked "H-how was it?" she asked us nervously..

"It was AWESOME!!!" Uzumaki beamed. "It gave me goosebumps all over my body!"

"I didn't know you were such a good singer Shinoa-san!" Okabe praised. "Did you by anychance came up with that choreo yourself?"

"I know right ?!" She did that! Amzing right?" I said showing off. I immediately turned to shinoa and held her hands and smiled. "Shinoa! Would you be our new music team captain?"

"Eh?! B-but.."

"Let's perform on the cultural festival (well..just meant Youth Festival) in October! We actually thought of doing covers of old hits but now we have you!"

"Oh..good idea Haru, we never did an original choreographed program in the first place." Okabe commented on my opinion.

"It's all because Haru is lazy." Mikey deadpanned.

"We Welcome you here Shinoa-san!" Uzumaki said as she exitedly went and welcomed her.

"T-thank you everyone!"

And so, we marched on towards the cultural festival with our practice sessions. We created new choreographies with a big help from Shinoa..

We're doing our best as we practiced everyday even though we didn't know we'd make it. But we still pushed on day after another.

I explained Shinoa's situation to the rest of the members. They understood and supported her. Because of that, she was able to relax a little while practicing...
