Calleb wasn't in the story line, do to the fact he is a pirate and was killed off by the male leads companions in the first chapter of the novel. But now that Yami is here, Calleb could help her overcome death flags and just maybe he'd live long enough to make it to the second chapter of the novel for future importance.
Yami meeting with Calleb wasn't supposed to happen, nether was she supposed to be on this island. But it all changed do to Gods will,? or so Seven thought anyway. Whatever can't change what has already been done, it's better to except it and continue to move forward. Besides Yami will be needing a lot of companions to help her take back the main character halo she deserves, and replace her halo with the falsely titled main character.
The next morning Yami woke up and got ready to meet Caleb for her training, Seven had a hard time getting her out of bed though, do to the fact she was up very late in the middle of the night because of that darn Pirate. Besides the point though Seven managed, and Yami even though she had lost many times in one on one battles with Calleb, she was indeed improving a lot in her skills in fighting. That if Calleb didn't believe in the word prodigy he'd call her one.
Seven didn't have to do anything but sit back and watch the show, even though he didn't like watching Yami getting her butt kicked it was still kinda funny. However if Yami heard thoughs thoughts, Seven sure would be the next one to be humiliated. After months on end of getting to meet the pirate crew, and help set up the boat it finally was about time they could leave the island. But Yami felt sorry for the young wolf pup Daphne, after all she had to leave her mother behind on the island because the mother wishes were to stay. Yami didn't want to force the unwilling, but she still couldn't help but feel sympathy towards the two wolves.
During the boat ride, Calleb and Yami have become close friends who have complete trust in each other. At first he had thought Yami was a braty child, yet soon after he discovered that Yami was no brat. In fact they are very similar with eachother, it was like they were brother and sister even though they weren't relations with blood.
"How long will we make it to the safe zone?" Yami asked Calleb, while she helped the crew set down the sail.
"Not to long, hopefully we'll be there before nightfall" Calleb responds, while signaling to the other Pirates what they were tasked to do.
"En. I'm going to get food want some?" Yami asked, as she grabbed her fishing pole from inside the boats storage closet.
"Yes" Calleb sullenly replies, as he takes a once over glance at the paper map in his hands.
Long hours of fishing, Yami caught many huge fish including Trout. some were odd new born fish, in which she released back into the ocean. While fishing, she had mumbled a song she remembers from her past life from reading a fairytale book about sirens. Yami knew such things couldn't have exested in her world, but in this world she had no idea what she had caused by mumbling these courses.
Yami cooked up the fish meat, what was once raw was now baked and ready to eat. All the Pirates gathered around the dinning table, taking a seat and dug greedily into their food.
"You sure have a talent for catching fish" Caleb says, after he takes a small sip of his glass of wine.
"Not really I just got lucky" Yami replied, while jabbing her forck into the flesh of the fish.
"True, it's usually very hard to catch live fish in these waters. I'm surprised there even is still any alive" Caleb retorts, "it must have been the will of the Sirens." Hearing this, Yami almost chocked on the fish she was chewing.
"Sirens? I thought that was just a myth" Yami questions truthfully.
"Nah they're real all right, Pirates and fishermen used to be lured into the sea and drown while the Sirens stole there treasure. But some if your lucky, will help you find treasure or catch fish." Caleb say's as he's swirling the wine in his glass, his eyes glazzed over like he was re-living an old memory.
"Have you ever encountered a Siren?" Yami asked curiously, placing down her fork on her plate and took a small sip of un-salted sea water.
"Yes once, but it was a long time ago before the outbreak. Who knows if any Sirens are still alive." Caleb replied, taking a huge gulp of his wine.
"I think if some animals are still alive, expecially us humans. Then I suppose maybe Sirens could still be alive" While Yami said this, she got up off her seat and fixed her ponytail she has in her hair. "I'm gunna catch some very much needed sleep, if you need anything you know where to find me." Yami says, patting Caleb's shoulder and made a B line to her room.
{'Sirens huh did they really exist, and if they did are some still alive?'}Yami asked Seven.
(Possibly Host, however there is no news of any sightings) Seven quickly responded.
