Chapter One part 1; The Day I Met Disaster( Female point of view)

It was a hot and sunny day. The sun was blazing and my feet were crunching in the sand. I waited for the wave to come over and cool me down but knew the high tide wasn’t around. I was in my head thinking about what was going on. My family is basically bankrupt and I have to go abroad. It’s not like I care much, it is just that…. My life was here in the sun with the waves in Malibu not in France. Maybe I should say how this story started.

My dads and mom have never been the so\-called perfect couple. Instead of more or, less, they would like to kill each other. It was an arranged marriage that was thrown at them in their prime. So basically they hate each other. I never mind since after I was born I never saw either of them. After I learned to talk and walk I went straight into etiquette classes and training to be a perfect wife. I never really came in contact with either of my parents for most of my life. Instead, I was raised by, my military grandpa. When I wasn’t learning to be a wife I was learning how to be a soldier. My grandpa was basically in charge of everything in the house and once he died when I was 16 everything went crashing down.

My mom and dad didn’t know anything about business and for the first year after his death, they just sat there as everything would run itself. Then once their credit cards declined they finally realized that they had to do something. While they were scavenging around I knew that I had to do something so I decided the best thing to do is overthrow my Father with the shares my grandfather left me and study abroad. Of course, I bought over my Father's share and the house so he could live his life without responsibility. In order for no one to question why a little girl was running a company, I decided to use an anonymous name. I decided to wait until I was 18 to start and take action\( mostly because then I would be an adult and get the shares\).

Well, that finally happened and tomorrow I’m going to France. I decided that running the business as a silent shareholder( even though I have 45% of the shares) until I gain enough knowledge to take it all back. Right now tho I want to have fun. In my 18 years of life, I have not even once gone to a party that did something exciting. I have always held so much responsibility. So tonight I’m going to a masquerade ball and having fun.
