In Kyoto.. a coach named Naoto Ito is planning on recruiting on top players of Japan.. so 3 weeks later, he went to a match of Tawamura Middle School vs Shenjoku University .. he saw a player he need, his name was Shinsuke Midoriyama, he is an excellent setter… with the height of 183 cm, he could toss high sets for the ace… 3 days later, he went to a match of Hanajima Institute vs Kenjiori Middle school, he saw a very good middle blocker with the name Daijiro Tsudawara, with an incredible height of 194 cm and the ability to score.. he is an asset to the team, then in a finals matchup with Okamiyura Middle school vs South Kyoto Christian School… in South Kyoto High, he saw a high jumping wing spiker named Kuragari Tanizaki and with the height of 168 cm and his athleticism, his vertical jump exceeds to 338 cm.

April 3, 2021- Ryokawa High, Kyoto

In Ryokawa, Coach Naoto was waiting for the players he recruited come.. fortunately everyone came!

Kuragari: So this is Ryokawa! Man I’m excited to meet my seniors!

Coach Naoto: Well, ya arrived at the perfect time.

Six players then go in the gym, its their senpai’s!

Coach Naoto: first of is the captain, Eijiro Nakamoto, the ace, Yasuo Chisaki, Our fast Libero Takahiro Moriyama.. the 2nd years.. middle blocker, Keiji Shikishima and setter, Rintaro Kawanishi, the Wing spiker Satoru Hirakawa and seniors, these are the freshmen…

Eijiro: Nice to meet you guys!

Shinsuke: Nice to meet you to, cap

Daijiro: Hope we get a nice relationship through out the year

Kuragari: Nice to meet you, Eijiro-Senpai!

Eijiro: Right, lets go practice

So they all get ready for practice..

Coach Naoto: ok, lets practice serving, thats our 3rd best weakness… first to start, Kuragari!

As Kuragari starts.. he throws the ball so high, the upperclassmen got shocked

Eijiro:(What the?! Just how high is his vertical?)

He then successfully makes the spike

Ejiro:(This guy is gonna make us win a championship and he’ll make it to the Volleyball League)

Narrator: … this is just the start, of Kuaragri Tanizaki’s journey..

Episode 1: part 2

So after practice, Kuragari invites them to his house, for a welcome party to Kuragari, Daijiro and Shinsuke…

Yasuo: Hey Kuragari, are you making coffee by using a large bowl?

Kuragari: Oh I’m making coffee jelly

Shinsuke: Isn’t that from that anime called The disastrous life of Saiki K

Kuragari: Yeah, I learned how to make that 3 months ago

Saiki on the phone of Kuragari: Did I hear coffee jelly?

Takahiro: AH! SAIKI IS TALKING TO HIM!

Kuragari: YAAAHH! Saiki? How are you talking to us

Saiki: Idiot, I’m a phsycic, of course I could break the fourth wall, now gimme that

Kuragari: No way, I only made this for my team!

Saiki: Guess I will buy some later..

Eijiro: What a weird.. night..

Satoru: Yeah-hahahah I don’t even know why I’m laughing…
